“I live in Liverpool, so I have absolutely no reason to say anything positive even—why would I bother to comment? But wow! I never thought I’d have a proper takeaway like this again. I usually love a la carte, posh vegan restaurants, but I’ve missed the greasy, indulgent pizzas I used to have before going vegan—and this place delivered exactly that. The calzone, garlic bread, and pizza were all incredible. Even better, it was a hit with my two autistic kids, which isn’t always easy. We were just visiting the Black Country Museum, and if I’m ever in the area again, of course I’ll be ordering—because wow. Ignore the other negative reviews—they’re talking rubbish. Maybe they just don’t like vegans, haha!”

“Delicious food, cooked to order so expect to wait a little longer than a microwave food pub. Steak, Hunters Chicken Schnitzel and Gluton Free Bacon Chop meals were all delicious accompanied by mouthwatering chips. Lemon zesty cheesecake for all three of us rounded up a delicious meal. Nice warm pub and our lovely waitress Jackie couldn't do enough for us. Can't wait to go back”

“Visited this venue with a group of friends for the first time, and we were all very impressed. This is a large, clean, and recently modernised pub. The food available is excellent quality and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and make everyone feel very welcome with their nothings-too-much trouble attitude. If you are over 60, I recommend you try their monday lunchtime seniors menu. Which is worth more than 5 stars for quality and value. Their pot of tea was just right, too. They also have cards and dominoes if you go with a friend and fancy a game. There is ample car parking available. This one is worth a try. I doubt you will be disappointed.”

“This is a great little quaint spoons for you, travelled from N.I to see my missus and stopped in for a pint or two and i must say unbelievable bar staff who are so friendly and love a chat will definitely be back when in the vicinity, made me feel so welcome and had time for everyone. “Family meal with couples all travelling from different directions! Really impressed by the place - first impression was good as it felt warm and welcoming on arrival! The staff approached quickly and seated us at booked table. When everyone had arrived orders were given and drinks arrived promptly. We didn’t have to wait too long but weren’t in a rush as we caught up with news. The food was excellent, hot and tasty, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend!”

“We had a bottomless brunch and were served by Tom and Holly all I can say is 10/10. We each had 8 drinks in the 90 minutes and we had a delicious meal. The service was really fast and holly and Tom were lovely! I would highly recommend it’s been a lovely bottomless brunch we will be doing it again! For £30 with a big meal and this many drinks you can’t go wrong.”

“Lovely pub, plenty to choose from on the menu, Excellent lunchtime meals 1-3pm I had the mixed grill it was massive, lovely steak and chips. There's an outdoor bit for those with little kids , and plenty of outdoor seating. Recommend the lamb hotpot.”
