“can't you give 6 stars*? I bought a chromed basin waste to replace my old one.. bought the parts from another store only to find .. (after getting everything off).. that my original basin waste is 10mm longer than the usual 80mm ones available.. Tried searching on the net and I find a lot of merchants do not give all of the dimensions of these wastes; only the diameter.. A local plumbers merchant could not help but recommended City Plumbers. I'm desperate now and need the same fitting.. So I went there and got immediate and friendly help.. After only a few minutes (didn't get his name unfortunately) he came back with an identical part. So pleased! Overall a very pleasing end to an anxious moment. I am keeping this place on my list!”

After ordering a multi tool online I called in store to collect unfortunately my order hadn’t filtered through to the store & as I was desperate to get on, I bought the tool again in store . The staff were great & said I’d get a refund on my original online order which may take a couple of days to process . “Efficient store to shop with. Parking right outside, store big enough to have a choice of items but not enough to be overwhelmed, size means you don't need to spend 4 minutes walking from end . Normally a choice between well known brand and wicks own and prices generally lower than other stores. Sometimes items can be a bit dusty due to the aggregates they stock and staff will happily point you in the direction of items you can't find”
