“Cody is a legend. He made me a focaccia sandwich. I asked him to surprise me with the contents and he did not disappoint! With spicy salami, dried tomatoes, mayo and cheese, it was delicious. I didn't take a picture because I ate it before I could look for my phone and I'm not sorry, it was so worth it.”

“This is by far the best Mexican I've ever had in the UK. Everything, down to the decorations is authentic. The food is out of this world, the right amount of spice and all the flavour. My partner is mexican and felt so at home here. I had the tacos, nachos and chocolate cake and would definitely be back for more. The staff are so friendly and sweet, not overbearing just normal. The decor feels like a real mexican restaurant. I wish I could give more stars. The owners even gave us some of their homemade ribs that were to die for. “Came across this hidden gem quite unexpectedly whilst house hunting in Bearwood accompanied with my aunt and brother. Not strictly speaking a restaurant but more a cafe/eatery. Weather was nice so we sat out front and it felt like al fresco dining in your favourite uncle's garden. Our lunches were yummy and freshly prepared. The service and meals were homely. Would definitely recommend and return.”

“Our first visit to this lovely gem, I’ve passed it many times and was actually born a short way down the Bearwood Road. A very warm welcome from the host who has a lovely sense of humour. The decor is very cozy and like sitting in their living room. The food is amazing, mainly Polish but other dishes too. We had the fish pate followed by Highlanders potato pancakes which was simply amazing, great flavours. Finished with choc cake with another twist. Lovely ambience with nice music. An all round authentic great experience, will definitely be back !!”

“I visited a few days ago and i was having a truly awful day, running late and feeling incredibly stressed, when I decided to pop into Hello Cafe. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere shifted completely. The aroma of the coffee was intoxicating, and the cafe buzzed with a genuinely happy energy. I ordered a coffee, and Zeee, the coffee Maestro, asked how my day was going. When I mentioned I was stressed, she took the time to chat with me, giving me her full attention despite how busy they were. She then made me the most beautiful coffee with a little heart in the foam. It was such a small gesture, but it completely turned my day around. The coffee was fantastic, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and Zee's kindness was the cherry on top. Hello Cafe is now officially my go-to spot. And their complimentary biscuits 10/10. Highly recommend it for a little boost on a tough day! And today again here for a coffee amazing fast service thank you”

“I ordered oxtail with rice and veggies from this Jamaican/Caribbean takeaway, and honestly, it hit the spot. The oxtail was the star of the plate — juicy, rich, and full of flavour. I couldn’t help myself! Big shoutout to Mel, because I’m sure she was the one behind the pot. She really did her thing with the cooking. After a long and tiring day at work, that food brought me back to life. It lifted my mood, gave me energy, and turned my Sunday into a proper good one. “I have been coming to China Bento since it opened. I really liked the alternative and traditional dishes that were offered and sad that the local community didn’t get behind this more. However this doesn’t take away from great food, really tasty and the service is always fab too. Honestly one of the best Chinese take aways I’ve had.”
