“We was really craving Boba tea at like 21:30 at night, so we searched and Boba head was the only place open. We got there to see they were about to close but opened up again just to make us our drinks. We ordered a mango fruit tea, brown sugar milk tea and matcha milk tea. It was honestly one of the best boba teas I’ve ever had, the atmosphere was amazing and the kind lady who made us our drinks was so accommodating and warm. Such a lovely place, would recommend to anyone.”

“Me and my husband took my mom and his aunty here for an afternoon tea. Tables were clean, lovely decor, and we all very much enjoyed our food. The staff called me ahead of time and to go through the sandwich choices, there was plenty of tea given, food selection of cakes too. Would definitely visit again ☺️”

“A totally unique experience on cov Rd. Very nice and setting is awesome. Service was spot on very friendly staff. We sat upstairs and there was free water available to help clear your palette and be ready for the awesome treats we ordered. We were a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed the deserts and shakes.”

“Great reception and kindness. There food is delicious and great with good aromas. I always use them whenever I can but on this occasion, I am rating them for letting my kids use their toilet facilities. On my way to London, my kids needed to use toilet but nowhere around; I just popped in, asked the receptionist and she granted us access. Their environment was neat and well decorated; their toilets were clean and neat. They have delicious dishes displayed all over the shelves. Highly recommended.”

“I went here to do some work for a few hours last week and it was a really nice atmosphere. After a while, one of the staff came and asked what I was up to and then brought me a slice of carrot cake on the house! It was so kind.”

“Dottie's is wonderful. My dog Bella has been going to them since she was a puppy and absolutely loves going. She runs up to Christine's front door and doesn't even look back. She stays with Christine when I go on holidays and I know she is safe and having the best time. Christine has helped turning my little puppy into a wonderful young dog. Who is social and friendly. Loving everyone. The best thing I ever did was going to Dottie's for day care and holiday cover. Thank you so much.”

“Service: The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. As it was my first time trying this coffee place, they patiently explained the menu and made thoughtful recommendations. Their warmth and enthusiasm for the food were infectious, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Food: The menu offered a variety of traditional Eritrean dishes, with a strong focus on rich, spiced stews and the unique flatbread, injera. I decided to try a few of the highlights: • Zigni: This spicy beef stew was a revelation. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, enveloped in a robust sauce that was rich and perfectly spiced. Each bite was a harmonious blend of heat and savoury goodness. • Injera: The injera was unlike any bread I’ve had before. Made from teff flour, it had a slightly sour taste that complemented the stews wonderfully. Its spongy texture made it ideal for scooping up the zigni and absorbing the flavours beautifully. • Vegetarian Sampler: As a lover of vegetable dishes, the sampler was a delightful surprise. It included a variety of lentils, spinach, and other vegetable stews, each with its distinct flavour. The lentils were particularly noteworthy, with a rich, earthy taste that was comforting and satisfying.”

“We were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch and several people directed us to various places within reasonable distances, it was the last person who sent us to Caffe Minno and we were so glad as the person serving us was so friendly, listened to what I needed and as I was unable to climb stairs, directed us to the nearest disabled toilets which we could use. Whilst out, our meals were made and on our arrival back to the table, our meals were promptly provided. I was impressed, normally when I ask for something, I find that they've added items but I'm pleased to say. I was provided with exactly what I asked for, no worries about what the ingredients were or whether they've added spices or pepper during the cooking (you would not believe the number of places that, dispite you telling them you cannot have pepper as you are allergic to it, still add it or do something else and you end up frustrated and annoyed that they have failed to listen to you. Caffe Minno did listen and prepared my lunch exactly as I requested, thank you so much. We both enjoyed our meals and really appreciate the hospitality from both of you. Our experience in the Caffe Minno was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend you go here if you have the opportunity, as they catered for my needs. The food was well cooked, portion size was good and it was hot, which considering we went out and our food was still hot, to me shows that they cared about the quality of their food, their service and most importantly, their customers. My husband had the all day breakfast and if I were able to have eaten it, I would have done, as it looked very nicely cooked and the presentation of our meals was very nice. Thank you for giving us a truly memorable experience. It was very much appreciated.”
