“After an initial order was not in stock, I was offered some suitable alternatives and when I'd made my choice it arrived promptly. A revised receipt email swiftly followed to confirm a refund for the difference in price. Communication good throughout with helpful updates on the status of my order.”
“Best cafe around without a doubt, friendly staff & the food is top notch”
“Visited here with some colleagues whilst dropping a few things off at Minworth for the day. Had a brilliant English Breakfast, so we returned again for a takeaway and took some delicious Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas on the way back. Service was great and we were very well looked after.”
“I have visited this wonderful cafe loads of times and each time it is amazing. The food and drinks are delicious. There is never a wait for a table. The owner is lovley. The cupboards full of games, toys and books and the atmosphere is cozy and perfect. Would 100% recommend you visit.”
“Really lovely cafe, relaxing environment. A great menu to choose from, the waffles are delicious! Definitely recommend going!”
“Absolutely fantastic place to stop off for food and drink whether it’s one of the variety of great burgers and chips, a slap up English breakfast, chicken or just soft drinks, tea or coffee. Great prices, plenty of meal choices and superb attentive service. Would definitely recommend.”
“Called here following a walk around the park. Good drinks and service on a nice sunny day. It's now our regular cafe to visit for a quick strawberry milk shake after our walk. Thank-you, be back again soon.”
“Afternoon tea as a birthday treat all arranged by my son who lives in Australia. A perfect afternoon for my sister (who was in on the treat) and myself. Good choice of sandwiches, savouries, and cakes. Very pretty crockery, as much tea as we wanted. The service was excellent. We bought some of the cake home as there was so much. We have been here before and will certainly go again. As an added extra, my son arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered during our tea.”
“Very well kept and looked after. A lovely little 15 min walk around to feed the ducks and let the kids play in the park.”
“My son's to go to cafe for baby chino and cake, they do amazing superfood salad boxes ”
“Great little cafe. Pleased I avoided food at Euston on my early journey to Hampton in Arden as now enjoying a freshly cooked bacon bap.”

“Popped in here for a bite to eat for lunch as I was in the area. First time I've eaten here and didn't know what to expect. The coronation chicken salad was good. I really enjoyed the coronation sauce. My friend had the pulled pork wrap and he said it was tasty and liked the mustard on it. The strawberry milkshake was delicious. A good quality milkshake. This place appears to be a busy deli shop for the local businesses. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast. Good selection of food to choose from. You can either do takeaway or they have limited seating inside and more seating outside on a quiet street.”
“Fantastic sandwich’s, always fresh and well made! Great staff and atmosphere, jacket potatoes are really well made! Would highly recommend!”
“What an amazing experience at Java café! We could see and smell the beans being roasted to perfection. The decor and attention to little details were just wow. If you love coffee, this is the place to be!”
“I had a medium size breakfast but couldnt eat it all. It was beautiful. Large rashers of short back bacon 2 large sausages beans toms egg and fried bread. The staff were so pleasant. I only went there after good reviews from people I know. Oh large mug of tea!!”
“Excellent staff, they were very busy but still gave a personal service. Delicious breakfast, we highly recommend a visit. There is a choice of tables and chairs or sofa areas. There is a small children's play area - mini kitchen and some books.”
“What a coffee (espresso)! Absolutey great and they well explained what to expect on the tasting side. All this done by really friendly and kind staff. And on top of it an awesome almond croissant! What do you need more to start your day!”

“This is Bedder's Fish and Chips, Mad O' Rouke's Pie and Mash, Duran Duran, Ozzy and Toni are just some of the great Midlands collaborations. Well, throw in cycles and coffee at Gorilla Coffee Cafe! This brummie institution is a beautiful, bright spacious cafe that is finely tuned for the the road cyclist. If it's the start of your cycling adventure or you've got a thirst on after a heavy day in the saddle, get over here. The staff are lovely, the coffee is great, they even serve local ales. Just find a pew amongst the abundance of seats and rest your weary lycra.”
“Exactly what you want from a local cafe. No Heston Blumenthal, just good, honest, English breakfast at a decent price.”

“Lovely food, atmosphere and staff! The menu has a good selection of normal foods - nothing too fancy, accessible to most - and at a good price. Lovely coffee and soft drinks. I had a ham and chicken ciabatta with salad and my mom had a ploughman's which was delicious too. Have never been here before but would definitely make it a regular place to visit. Also dog friendly! Thank you so much ,see you soon!!”
“A lovely welcoming place. Many activities for all ages. I enjoy crafts on Wednesday afternoons.”
“I was walking past on one of my strolls and the smell drew me in like I was one of the bisto kids. I was served with an excellent Bacon Egg Sausage and Tomato sandwich which tasted every bit as good as it looked. I consumed it on a very pleasant seating area. The ladies who served me were pleasant. This is an excellent place.”
“One of our favourite local haunts. The cafe itself is beautifully decorated with all manner of whimsical items. It almost has the vibe of Monica’s kitchen from friends with its eclectic memorabilia and decor. The food menu is varied with breakfasts, brunches, lunches and specials - and very reasonably priced. Portions are always decent and the service is friendly. The cafe is clean and a although often busy it’s never difficult to find a table. We certainly recommend this hidden treasure on the high street”
