“1st app I went to was very quick then had eye test dn then after other check i wos done no where near 3 hrs and you book surgery on way out with reception staff. Went back following mon just to have, 2nd opinion as they thought yes ive deffo got caterax bt does it need doing now. But I decided with spec savers to have it dn cus its its not going to go so he said when do you want it dn, I said asap as dnt want to think about it so had it dn 3 weeks ago, did it hurt not at all i was petrified honestly but you dnt feel a thing he tells you wots happening. The o ly thing that hurts is when the drops wear away you do feel grittyness in the eyebut you carnt rub it, he put me some more drops in bt only last half hr. Bt spamedica is really brilliant place from the very start offers you tea coffee throughout yr stay nurses are very good theatre staff brilliant and the surgeon very nice and spoke throughout 10 out of 10 I'd give higher if could plz dnt panic like me I REALLY IS PAINLESS. “Had a large cod and chips last night. The cod was absolutely beautiful. It was white, fresh and cooked to perfection. I did have to wait as it was cooked to order, however it was worth it. The chips were lovely too. I had a medium portion and it was enough for me and my wife to share. The chap in the shop was very friendly and said if I didn't enjoy his fish I was welcome to come back and complain. It was the nicest cod and chips I've had in a while. I would definitely recommend this shop and will be using it again.”

“Always fresh, hot, lovely food. The pizza is not too thin, packed full with meat and veggies. Chicken pieces etc are always freshly prepared as well. Very friendly and nice staff. Just had my garlic bread again, soo delicious. My boys love their milkshakes as well. The whole place is very clean, neat and tidy.”

“The food here surprised me. The shop looks like a normal kebab shop, so I wasn't expecting much, but the burgers were fresh, tasty and the ingredients were good quality, the nachos were pretty good and the Cajun fries were hot and well seasoned. I have to look hard to see any bad things about Uncle Sam's, even the female delivery driver was attractive. Sam, you are doing a great job”

“Absolutely amazing burritos with so much flavour. The staff are also absolutely lovely. I had ordered online and they had phoned to let me know when the delivery driver had left with the food. Honestly will be eating there in the future, so great.”

“This hotel is simply brilliant. I have now stayed here FOUR times in my life. My only complaint is that it is in Birmingham. However, this is outweighed by the many fantastic fortunes associated with staying here. The service is extremely exciting, with reception members often unexpectedly dropping into my room at late hours of the night when all lights are turned off - a fun and lighthearted surprise! I heard them reorganising my possessions and felt one worker checking my pulse while I slept, which was very reassuring to know my safety is a priority. Another safety measure met here is ensuring all visitors are vaccinated - at approximately 10pm I received a surprise vaccination at the bar, however I do not know what illness it was protecting me from as I quickly fell asleep; however, staff still kindly escorted me to my room and helped me undress for bed. Overall a brilliant experience - I am highly satisfied with the care and support offered by staff. At this hotel, I feel truly loved.”
