“Excellent shop, now been extended and shelves rearranged to make it more open & welcoming. The fruit & veg is very fresh - better taste than supermarkets; furthermore the meat counter is clean & the staff are helpful.”

“Well I’d called in here today for a few bits 12/06/2023 , one thing I couldn’t find was birthday candles for kids . So I got to the till and just happened to mention it to the cashier Theresa I think she was called and she said I’m sure we do have them . So I paid for the goods we’d already got . Then off she went and within a minute she came back with the candles . 1st class service well done and thank you .”
“This is the smaller store, still has all the usual goods. ie food, household, toys, toiletries, etc. Parking is pay and display. Level ground for access to the shop. Helpful and friendly staff.”

“Dawn is so helpful. My children wanted blankets for their dolls they received at Christmas. She helped them choose a blanket and embodied the dolls name on the blankets. Her stock is of great quality and reasonably priced. Thanks the girls were delighted with the blankets.”
“In Sainsburys. At the back of the store. Has tablets to search for items, this tells you if its in stock, if its in stock nearby or lets you have it delivered to this store later in the day or next day. You order your item and then pick a codeword to give to cashier so they can get your order up. Also has paper catalouges, pencils and order pads. Surprised at how much stock they had. Well laid out. Fully flat and wheelchair accessible. Fast and friendly staff. The best Argos have been in.”
“Staff are so helpful. Although parcel deliveries are taking up too much of their time. They need more staff. My only problem with that shop is how cold it is. Its too cold to bare”
“Friendly People, Always Feel Welcome When I Walk Into The Shop, Polite, Well Mannered Owners”

“I stumbled across this delightful, well stocked and different from other Health food shops this week whilst having some time to kill! The owner Natalie was so helpful and friendly it was hard not to leave. I had an excellent latte and enjoyed browsing round the shop for gift ideas. Loved the idea of plastic free products and organic fruit and veg. Bought some of their homemade peanut butter which was delicious. I will certainly be visiting again and trying the organic veg box. Well Done Natalie and family for bringing something different to Halifax.”
“I attended for my Covid and Flu injections today. I was greeted with a friendly smile; made to feel comfortable whilst waiting for my turn; met a friend and caught up with her news; the medical pharmacist attended to me in super quick time and I felt no jabs going into my arm. All in all a well worthwhile trip. Thank you Heath Pharmacy.”
“My regular place for daily shop. Quality of fruit and veg maintained. If quality drops I move but so far so good 2 years on. Very welcoming and friendly. Just come back from a shop litterally 10 mins ago.”

“Amazing value for money! Perfect for stocking up the cupboards, competitive and affordable for food/drinks and household bargains! Been a customer 3 years and Barry's are a huge hit for saving on those big brands that cost way more in the local supermarkets! Definitely recommended!! #Barrys100”

“I wanted to take a moment to praise one of your employees, Adnan, who went above and beyond to help my disabled grandmother during her shopping trip last week. From the moment we walked in, Adnan noticed my grandmother was having difficulty moving around and immediately offered his assistance. He was kind, respectful, and incredibly patient, helping her navigate the aisles, reach items on higher shelves, and even carried her basket when it became too heavy. His friendly attitude and thoughtful gestures made a big difference, turning what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. It’s rare to come across such genuine care and professionalism. Adnan is a true credit to the Home Bargains team, and I hope his kindness and outstanding service are recognised. Thank you again, Adnan, for your help—it meant the world to me and my family.”
“I've been visiting this place regularly and have always received excellent customer service and friendly and polite staffs. They are updating many things on the store. In my opinion, one stop offers better quality products, great deals, and competitive prices. They're truly a one stop shop, with everything you need including a variety of takeaway food options.”
“Really good supermarket. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for shopping. It's clean and has bright lights to see the produce clearly. Everything looks fresh and clean which is a top priority for me. Has some good offers and the customer service is excellent. Also offer delivery which is a bonus. Thats why its 5 stars for me. Best Asian supermarket I've shopped at.”
“Carpark lots of disabled parking does get very busy. Staff friendly food prices good also home and seasonal etc”
“My favourite place to brunch. The Farmhouse Breakfast is lovely, myself and my son always love to get that, and my mum and other son are big fans of the fluffy pancakes. The portions are generous and the quality is amazing. The food menu is value for money. I always judge whether to visit a breakfast spot by the sausages on offer because decent butchers sausages always tell me the food will be good because the establishment cares about quality and the sausages here are proper butchers sausage. (I did ask for well done scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage on the accompanying image). I notice they have vegetarian options too. I've been here so many times now and it never disappoints. I always book in advance online with the easy to use booking system as they can get too busy for walk ins (shows how great they are) and I always ask to sit at the window (table 10/11/12/13) which overlooks the countryside view. You also get bookings for 1.5 hours so no rush to eat and get out. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly whilst remaining professional. Would highly recommend and continue to return time and time again.”
“A consistently good experience at the Halifax M&S. It's always busy, which speaks to its popularity, but there is always lots of stock on the shelves. It's a good-sized shop with a brilliant range. We especially love the Food Hall, there's always something nice for tea! Highly recommended for reliable quality and choice.”
“Lidl’s bakery section is a true hidden gem, offering an incredible range of freshly baked goods at unbeatable prices. The moment you walk in, the scent of warm pastries and bread fills the air, making it hard to resist picking up a treat (or two!). Their selection is impressive for a supermarket, with everything from crusty baguettes and multigrain loaves to buttery croissants and delicious pastries. The quality is fantastic—each item is fresh, soft, and flavorful. The pretzels and chocolate twists are my go-to favorites, perfect for a snack on the go, while the ciabatta rolls make a great base for homemade sandwiches. The best part is the value; you get artisan-level bread and pastries at a fraction of the cost you’d find elsewhere. Plus, Lidl often rotates seasonal items, which keeps the bakery interesting and gives you new options to try each visit. The self-serve layout is convenient, and everything is usually well-stocked, so it’s easy to grab what you need. Overall, Lidl’s bakery is a wonderful surprise for anyone who loves quality baked goods on a budget. It’s a must-visit section that adds a special touch to each shopping trip.”
“The Co-op in Greetland is a great place to grab those last minute items you forgot. I find that there’s always ample parking .The staff are always very friendly . The shelves seem to be well stocked the many times I’ve been to grab a few bits and piece’s . It’s also really handy having the cash machine inside too . Also you can get your parcels delivered here from certain retailer’s . I’ll be definitely using the Co-Op in greetland as always .”
“Nice layout of shop not cluttered. Clean. Prices very low quality very good, you just have to be carful of sizing best to try on to be safe as they can vary quite a bit. Staff lovely and friendly”
