“We went as a fam of 4. We ordered- Chaat mains and dessert. The ‘must order’ dishes are definitely Sev Puri, Papdi Chaat and the Parathay. I have to say every single plate of food that came to our table tasted home cooked and freshly made. The Saag parathay are to die for honestly! I can’t wait to go back for another one haha! Being a family run business as well- they can alter the food as you like it and deliver an amaazing experience. The husband and wife duo were very courteous, friendly and hospitable. This kind of food- the proper desi Punjabi food is hard to find in Bradford- it’s a must try!!”

“Weekend isn’t complete without a visit to Fortune Cookie for salt and pepper chicken wings and chips. As always, food is on point and scrumptious. Prices are very reasonable. Portion sizes are very generous so you may want to share (even if you don’t want to!). Service is excellent and you are warmly welcomed with a smile by the staff (thanks Kammy) and you don’t wait long for your order.”

“Food was beautiful and so much choice! The service was excellent, all waiters were attentive and we didn’t feel rushed. Had a couple of beers and ordered our food slowly making a night of it. Really busy inside, good atmosphere with lots of families enjoying time together. They have a brilliant 3 course meal deal through the week (5pm-7pm) which has so much choice and less than £20! Definitely returning here, could not fault it. Licensed bar, good choice of drinks to choose from. There is something on the menu to fit everyone’s palate with a wide range of vegetarian options available also.”

“This is a slightly late review as we went to stay a night in November but still... if I could give 10 stars.. 100 stars - I would! Absolutely wonderful and charming hosts that make the most delicious breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a green garden view. Bev and Chris - thank you so much! We will be back later this year and can't wait! (Hope you managed to make a choice between the two black puddings, both were yummy!)”

“We ate in here the other week, the food was beautiful but we felt abit ripped off. We were charged for the Prawn crackers, even though it clearly said on the front of the menu 'free Prawn crackers when you spend over £30' I was also full, so I asked if I could take my leftovers with me.. to be told I will be charged 70p for a small plastic tub to takeaway my leftovers. Which would be fair enough, but every meal was already 50p more to eat in than takeaway. Which I understand, for washing up/table service etc.. But to be charged 70p ontop of a meal, that would have already been 50p cheaper if we just had it to takeaway seems abit naughty. Order it for takeaway and it's already 50p cheaper and your not paying 70p for the tub either. It's not about the money as we would have given them a tip anyway (it cost around £37 and we gave them £40) it's just the principle, it left us feeling like we'd been abit ripped off. I would definitely order from here again (food was perfect/delicious) but it would be for takeaway. Then we can check all the prices before picking up the order.”

“Had wonderful Saturday lunch time, special menu: food, coffee and a glass of wine for £18.95. (extra it's not cheap) The menu features a range of classic Italian dishes with signature of "Italian calabrese taste"...even a little bit adapted.(pasta a little overcooked and lots of sauce). Nice personal introduction from a member of team , who explained the dishes of the day to everybody. Staff friendly. The place is rather small inside, but we enjoyed the atmosphere outside table. We will visit again in the future.”

“Little gem of a tea room! Excellent selection of good priced food. Food excellent quality & portions good too. (3 adults visiting with a dog) Tried their bacon sandwich which was freshly made with plenty of bacon in a soft bap. Coffees made fresh, so we ended up staying long enough for a second round of coffees with cakes (gingerbread man, millionaires shortbread, cornflake tart…..all good value and would easily beat the competition for quality). We’ll certainly be back as there were other good valued meals advertised that we’d like to have tried too. Easily accessible location, and happy to accept dogs (they get as much attention as the humans!)”

“A massive choice of amazing sandwich of all sorts, wrap, panini's, bread sandwiches rolls. Today I had Jamaican Jerk chicken toasted wrap and it was amazing. It was a shame I don't live local otherwise I would be there everyday. Can't recommend enough and will be visiting next time im in Halifax which may end up being sooner rather than later to have a good lunch :) super friendly lady that works there too. It did only seem to be a takeaway sandwich shop rather than somewhere you eat in.”

“A treat straight after the gym, the menu has lots of superfood options and a great selection of hot and cold drinks. I had the spinach and mushroom omelette which was DELICIOUS! My hubby thoroughly enjoyed his bacon and poached eggs with a carrot cake to top it off! Highly recommend!”

“We have been wanting to go here for a while, and what a beautiful place the food was amazing too. Do not hesitate to go here get running ... I had the garlic mushrooms for starter and the steak it was all just amazing. Other pics are from a few others who we ate with. “A True Village Gem: Exceptional Food, Family Focus, and Unrushed Atmosphere! We are so incredibly lucky to have this restaurant in our village. It is consistently our favourite place to visit as a family, and we genuinely couldn’t recommend it more highly. The commitment to quality is evident across the board; the food is always wonderfully fresh and clean. The portions are also incredibly generous—my husband and I always go for the delicious Mixed Grill Platter for Two and the Mixed Meze, which never disappoint! They have recently added a fantastic new option to the kids' menu: a light, fresh, and truly flavourful Pizza. Our children absolutely love it, which makes dining out a breeze. The entire atmosphere is nice and chilled, and we particularly appreciate that they stick to one setting, meaning we never feel rushed out. This is a restaurant that truly understands hospitality and great food. Five stars, every time!”

“Class cafe around the Center of Ilkley, food is handmade from my knowledge, and drinks are always nice. Staff are friendly and is a nice atmosphere, however did wittiness a bit of a tiff between two groups of women trying to get me and my friends seats when we were trying to leave aha. But all round always been a great experience.”
