We had a make in mind but after talking to Eddy, he recommended another manufacturer which we went with. So glad we did and even though it took me a few weekends to actually fit it, I think it looks great. Eddy recommended that we didn’t build a frame around the soundbar and I am so glad about that as we can change in future without having to worry about sizes. We had a further example of fantastic service this week when they repaired a broken door (caused by my son’s carelessness not the craftsmanship) free of charge. From the first moment of stepping into Steve’s shop in Brighouse, we felt a true and genuine interest in designing a kitchen that was exactly right for us. A fantastically refreshing approach in which Steve tried to understand us rather than just sell us a kitchen, and a process in which we felt investing in as people, and the results were better than either of us could have imagined. Steve challenged our thinking in the right places, to ensure we had the right design and gave us food for thought on aspects that would have never crossed our minds. The partnership and collaboration paid such amazing dividends. The other aspect to highlight incredibly positively was that when we encountered glitches in the manufacturing (no fault of Steve’s) his proactive and attentive response was first class - if only all companies and service providers took such personal responsibility. “Bradford Digs is not your average accommodation!. The decor is extraordinary – lots of African fabric and sculpture and red appliances. The back to back house is comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped. Irene, the host, is very friendly and helpful. The price is definitely right. The area is rough and ready and very Bradford. Irene has put together an excellent information pack. It’s easy to get around on foot, bus, train and cab. A great experience.”

“Took my parents to view riser recliner chairs and met with Katie who knows her stuff. Katie is approachable, friendly and very knowledgeable and after asking a few questions was able to guide my parents to the appropriate chairs to suit their individual needs. She gave them good advice, fully demonstrated the chairs and has a great sense of humour whilst being very respectful at the same time. Excellent service, no pushy sales techniques, easy and relaxed atmosphere. Shop was well stocked with furniture and chairs to try out. On the whole a very pleasant experience for my parents and me! From the first time we entered the showroom and spoke to Mr Ali he was professional from the outset conducted a free home visit and drew up the plans. “Booked this place for friends from out of town and they loved the place. It was cheap and cheerful. Lucas I think was the manager an excellent guy who will attend to your every need. A great place with all amenities walking distance as is the city centre. Cant fault this place at all but could do with a hair dryer but apart from that absolutely spot on. You even have access to Netflix too so definitely wont be bored by watching normal telly. Keep it up guys.”

From my experience the furniture I have bought it has always been top quality stuff, other furniture shops will have to turn their quality up a notch. “Just returned from an excellent weekend at Hewenden Mill Cottages. The owners, Mr and Mrs Emmanuel, have thought of everything to make their cottages real homes from home. Good welcome breakfast with milk, cereal, toast, butter, jams, juice, tea and coffee (instant but a plunger is there if you prefer ground coffee). Very well equipped kitchen so lovely for cooking. Oil, salt and pepper there. We were in number 9 which was very comfortable, good linen, comfy sofas, downstairs loo, warm and cosy retreat from storm Deirdre's the freezing rain. Lots of space for hanging coats, a torch, umbrellas, smart TV. Really couldn't fault it and we will definitely return when visiting nearby family - and hopefully for more than a weekend. So much to explore still...”

“We have recently purchased our kitchen from Xcel. From start to finish the team are outstanding! Elaine took care of us during measure up and design. Very knowledgeable, honest, and knew her stuff! Azhar the owner made some brilliant suggestions to enhance our kitchen that I hadn't thought of and it didn't increase the cost. This showed integrity. Amaan who handled the supply and install also did a cracking job. Kept me and the fitter they had arranged for us fully informed and truth be told there were a couple of bits to sort out, but he was on it and everything completed to time. The quality of the units is also superior at 22mm thick compared to where else we had been and they are made in their own factory meaning they can bespoke make things for you. If you are wanting a top notch kitchen for a price less than the larger named companies head to here!”
