“Little gem in Calverley. The Little Coffee House has a cosy atmosphere with friendly and kind hosts. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast. The scrambled eggs were perfect - fluffy and delicious. They were melting in my mouth. Smoked salmon excellent complimented eggs with light saltiness and smokiness. My latte was creamy and smooth. It's definitely a place to return and try other items from the menu. Thank you!”

“Has had a lovely refresh since new ownership. A place with actual decent coffee and a children's play space is the ultimate dream for parents. Lots of space for pram parking . There is a step to enter but staff are helpful with getting you in. There is a changing table in the toilet (which is very clean) complete with emergency supplies! The children's lunchbox is also a great deal. Edit 15/8/25 I continually come back to Golden Linings due to the warm welcome from the staff, nothing is too much trouble whether you're there for 10 minutes or 2 hours. I will be sad to be not be here so often once I'm off Maternity Leave!”

“We dined at Tuana for the first time this weekend. We deliberately chose close to opening time to ensure that it was quiet. The refurbishment was beautiful and although only a few tables occupied, the atmosphere was lovely (noting that the music could have been a little quieter). The menu was extensive and advice given on dishes really helpful. The quality was good and plentiful. Excellent customer service - attentive without being intrusive. There were a few surprise and delights too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly dine here again.”

“After being let down at the last moment Adrian & Caroline kindly took us and our little dogs in. What an amazing hosts! The room was great with lots blankets and towels for the dogs and a little garden. The breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.”

“We decided to try Greenwood Cafe Bistro after finding excellent reviews online from previous customers with ceoliac disease (strictly gluten free). We were not disappointed! We had the best homemade gluten free scones we've ever had & they came served with incredible homemade jam full of fruit. “I had a great time at Josef K. Cafe! Very friendly staff, and the owner makes amazing homemade cakes. Their cake and coffee deal was fabulous, and the ambiance was perfect for chilling and chatting. “I have been here several times, but I am not a frequent visitor. Always had friendly service, good food, and really excellent coffee. Actually the coffee is really worth a mention as they use high quality beans. It is one of the few places in this area that make a really good espresso. The staff are very friendly and it is a spacious place with easy access, so quite a handy place to take elderly relatives. It is part of a church, so there is a religious bookshop next door and so on. Personally I am not religious at all, but this aspect doesn’t affect how nice the cafe is in any way.”

“Wanted to go here for ages. It's beautifully decorated with chandeliers and subtle mood lighting . We were offered a chance to get drinks at the bar or take out seats, which we did, and the staff were so lovely. They came with water and menus quickly and gave us the right amount of time to look at the menus. We ordered some wine which was lovely and the food order was taken soon after. The food was delicious, and the starter was huge. I had scallops in a bisque, and the 2 types of bread that came were warm and really spongy and fresh. The main course was cooked perfectly!! And we were too full for pud this time. No starter next time or something smaller!! This was a lovely evening, and we will deffo go back”
