“How many Halfords employees does it take to change a lightbulb? 2 apparently; one grumpy old man to tell you not to park your car in a fitting bay (at the time you have booked) only to have to move it immediately back there after moving it elsewhere and then to tell you they can't change the headlamp bulb on your car even though you tell them you have seen it done before without taking the whole headlamp unit out and then the 18 year old who apparently knows nothing to do it in a matter of seconds. The 5 stars are for the young lad who was very polite with a great customer manner and an extra bonus 0 stars were awarded for the grumpy git (If he wasn't just having an off day please let the young lad give him a bit of training).”

“1st Class Garage saved me from a really difficult situation when the clutch broke down upon my arrival to Brighton. When I phoned them the next day and explained my situation, the secretary and the technicians were incredibly understanding and responsive, sending out a couple of mechanics to assess what my car needed. They explained clearly what work needed to be done and when they realised that I couldn't drive the car to them, they sent me to a recovery service that transported my car at a very reasonable and affordable price. They then fixed the clutch that very afternoon which was incredible as I needed to drive back home on Monday! The car drove fantastically on my way back and the fix was a very reasonable price. I couldn't recommend them more as they were friendly, compassionate and responsive to a very stressful situation.”
