From the moment we arrived to the moment we left he was attentive and made us feel like the only people in the bar despite the bar being full of Christmas parties. Would thoroughly recommend the bottomless brunch and Harlequins especially if served by Szymon!”

“We went for the all you can eat Chinese and we can say it was some of the best Chinese food we have ever eaten! The duck was delicious and crispy and everything was cooked to perfection! The staff were all absolutely lovely and very attentive. The food came nice and quickly and the staff were constantly checking if we wanted to try more dishes. Couldn’t recommend enough! Also is a huge venue so would recommend for bigger groups of people (6-8).”

“Absolutely wonderful gem in the heart of Worthing Town. Food excellent quality and exceptional value. Very friendly and little Bobby is so adorable. Great for wheelchair users and my fussy dad who felt very at ease and enjoyed his butterfly chicken immensely. This has not been my first visit because I like to go back to see if the food is consistent which it is hence this review. I'll be back again soon”

“Lovely staff, even for a Friday evening we barely waited for our food. Fun atmosphere and amazing cocktails. We shared the platter for 2-3 with 4 and had the hot mezze starter. Perfect!”

“A really lovely restaurant that a friend and I visited Saturday lunchtime. We went for the set lunch menu. My friend is Slovak and really enjoyed the chicken schnitzel. I am vegetarian so went for halloumi burger. We also had a large salad bowl (50% discount with a main meal). . I do think they need to increase the vegetarian choices in the set menu because that was a bit restricted. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here.”

“We came here for brunch as we had our dog with us and we needed somewhere that was dog-friendly. The ladies working there are super friendly and our order was taken quickly. The food came quickly and was well-cooked it didn't have excess grease and the portion size was great.”

“Moved to Worthing after living and working in London for 2 decades, you end up having to find a 'new' everything (GPs, Local Shop, Garage and, of course, barbers). Stumbled on this absolute gem of a Barbers in my first week and have now been returning every 6-7 weeks for my haircut. 4 years on and never, I repeat, NEVER had a bad cut. Reasonably priced and there is a reason that there is always a queue!”

“Updated: 12/07/2023 5th time visiting this restraunt since my initial review. The steak on black rock was divine, much better then most of the other local establishments. Michael made our visit special and engadged with my 3 year old neice making her visit fun. Overall the escape bar I would rate higher then 5 stars if I could”

“Food was excellent and well prepared. Staff were great and very accommodating. This is a traditional pub which is reflected in the menu. There is a good selection of drinks available. Other patrons were welcoming so you don't feel that you are an outsider if you are not a regular at the establishment.”

“We decided to enjoy a roast at The Egremont and were lucky to arrive early enough to get the last table before they filled up with 100 pre booked roast dinners I ordered the lamb shank, while my friend chose beef, both served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots, and parsnips—much more than we expected! We also shared a giant portion of cauliflower cheese and some massive pigs in blankets, which we affectionately dubbed The Egremont sausage surprise. The food was delicious and plentiful, and I even shared some of the pigs in blankets with the neighboring table, & bought some food home - If you plan to go, I recommend making a reservation! “I love these pizzas normally but haven’t had one for a while, tonight was really looking forward to it but was disappointed just had medium pizzas delivered with BBQ wings, Pizza box was opened when arrived so not hot, bbq wings were a bit better, will give it one more try again and if it’s the same I will move on.”
