“Came here because I walked past exploring the area while visiting for the day and could smell the food being prepared was instantly drawn to the pub. It was starting to get busy and most tables were booked but I was able to grab a space and enjoy a really good fish finger sandwich. Didn’t take long to come out, the chips were banging, the sandwich it self was one of the best fish finger sandwiches I’ve had! The tomato sauce was delicious and I found out it was homemade, tasted like a tomato soup (in my opinion). Good service, lovely people who work here and the atmosphere of the people here a good time. Definitely come if you’re heading to Hastings or if you’ve live here and looking for something new.”

“A lovely pub right by the sea. Old and inside it goes on and on with a pool room, darts room, and a downstairs that leads to the sea/river. Standing outside you can be by the river. Inside, you cannot see the river due to the wall outside, yet still a lovely space inside because it has so much light. Our server, Leo, was excellent and gave you the impression that nothing was too much. A masterclass in serving customers. I gave the venue 5-star for the service. Unfortunately, I had to rate the food much less. We ordered the mussels, two lots, and the mussels were very small, overcooked, and the 'classic sauce was watery and did not have a great flavour. I wanted it to be a great dish, as we really love mussels, but alas it was not. Shame.”

He explained everything very clearly both before the appointments by email and at every appointment that I went to. “Very positive experience at this surgery. The full family are patients of Montpelier Dental Care and we have been for a few years. We recently attended an appointment with Dr Lishoy Rodrigues (kindly assisted by Soni). Both were caring, considerate and animated in the meeting; Lishoy explained all options to myself & hubby in respect of continuing care for our teeth and we were both able to get follow up appointments with Lishoy a few days after our initial appointment. My 3 year old daughter stole the show and came away with 2 stickers! She can't wait to go back to the dentist! My follow up appointment yesterday was also successful. Lishoy explained what would be completed during the meeting and whether treatment would be painful. I'm pleased to say that I experienced no pain, a little discomfort during the clean, but everything was completed within 30 minutes.
