We recently had the immense pleasure of celebrating our wedding at The Crown at Kelston, and we can genuinely say it was the most perfect day imaginable, largely thanks to the incredible team there. From our very first contact, we dealt with Neve, who was absolutely brilliant. Neve made the planning process seamless and stress-free. In the lead-up to the wedding, everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely didn't have to think about a single thing on the day itself – a true gift for any couple! Neve even coordinated directly with our florist, two musicians, the stretch tent company, and our cake supplier on the morning of the wedding, ensuring all suppliers were perfectly in sync without us lifting a finger. Whatever our request, big or small, nothing was ever an issue for Neve and the team. They were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, the staff worked effortlessly from start to finish. Their attentiveness, efficiency, and friendly demeanour were remarkable, ensuring all our guests were well looked after and the celebration flowed beautifully. And we must mention, the food was absolutely amazing – a real highlight that all our guests raved about! “We have had a roast here twice now and always great food. Great to be able to enjoy the lovely garden in the sunshine while having a proper Sunday roast. “Came today with my family in a large group for the breakfast with santa experience! the children absolutely loved every minute including the adults. The atmosphere was christmassy, the staff was great and food was delicious! We will definitely be making this a new family tradition as it was so magical, santa and his elf helper were so warm and welcoming they really went above and beyond to cater for our family as large group (7 children & 10 adults) they were so patient and allowed us to take lots of lovely group family photos in our invidiual families and allowed us all in the room so all parents/grandparents were able to see the joy on the children's faces! thank you harvester for a fantastic family christmas experience!! ❤️❤️”

The garden was clean and tidy with plenty of seating and I could see lighting for those late evening eats out. Once they've worked out the issue, they always check with you before ordering parts to fix. “Excellent sunday roast! We came with quite a large group but the food came out promptly with no complaints. Everything including the kids meals were good value, I had the Beef roast which was particularly good, drinks well priced and the service was really friendly and efficient. The kids loved the alpacas in the garden, the landlord even got some food for the kids to give them which kept them all happy. You’ll be hard pushed to find a better country pub for a nice family meal, we’ll be back!”

“We had a meal here a couple days ago and couldn’t fault anything especially the service, our waitress was excellent. Our waitress made everything easy from ordering food/drinks, to paying the bill and even recommended a dish of the menu which was delightful. We stayed for a few drinks afterwards in the drinking area. The atmosphere was great and wasn’t to loud or to quiet, a very welcoming establishment and lovely bar staff. The biggest plus is there is a great choice of lager/beer. All in all a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone.”
