“Excellent Fish & Chip served. Prices very reasonable. Love my favourite fish -Husk. One very large bone and full of fish meat- Delicious!! There are other varieties on the board that you can buy. Owners of Penhill Fish Bar is very courteous. You can request that the batter is not too crusty when deep fried if you prefer. Very easy to park unlike Taylor Fish Shop in the high street where vehicles are always parked even though they are not the customers.”

I asked for a Chicken Tikka Vindaloo Hot,Hot,Hot. I added a special request for an addition of some bird eye chillies if possible. The food was superb. 1xVindaloo Hot Hot Hot. 1x Mushroom Rice 5 Poppadoms + Pickles etc. 1 King Prawn Puree 1 Onion Bahjees. Delicious 100% recommended.”

The staff were understanding and friendly and gave me a hot coffee on a cold and miserable day. “Back in April 2022 I chose Pembroke as my advisors for an Equity Release basically to keep my 6 year old grandson at his private school. It was handled by the Principal Mortgage Advisor Paul Grennan and his assistants Julie Ward and Carol Mitchell. Right from the start they were very professional, prompt, friendly and always responded to any questions I had. For reasons that had nothing to do with Pembroke my equity release took 7 months to complete. I was on the verge of giving up, selling my house and removing my grandson from his school, the stress levels were getting unbearable. Julie and Carol were amazing, they never gave up, they kept pushing and they kept me going with their kind and motivational words. God knows how many phone calls and emails they had to make on my behalf. We got there in the end and I can't praise Julie and Carol highly enough (and you Paul!). As part of the service they have also made a complaint for me for the amount of time it took. I would recommend Pembroke to anybody, they went totally above and beyond and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would.”
