“What a lovely restaurant! Very warm welcome. Good selection for vegetarians. We shared some light bites followed by sharing a Pizza Pesto. The pizza was the most delicious we have eaten in a long while. All washed down with the house red which was very acceptable. We were visitors to Lewes - this restaurant will encourage us to return!”

“Hands down the BEST pizza in Lewes! Nah… actually it’s the best pizza I think I’ve ever had. No joke! The Fuoco Blue is my weakness. Super friendly staff in a sweet, simply, hidden away location behind the station. And now they do awesome coffee too! “We walked into the Riverside, a place with lots of shops and eating places init and we chanced upon Bubble and Bao. We went for the pork buns, chicken tonkatsu, chicken teriyaki Bao bun and what looked like Salmon sushi roll. Oooommmmgggg. So good, pork broth was tasty but could have done with a bit more depth but after seasoning up with some chilli crunch and Soy sauce and ginger it was delicious and with the kombu it was really an interesting flavour. The rest was just amazing. Sushi is prepared after you order it and I'm pretty sure the pork buns were made out of delicious Clouds. I'm so going to try and get back there for the grilled Eel and anything else I can next week.”

“It doesn't look very promising from the outside but I was persuaded by the good reviews to give this place a try. Excellent fish and chips - I ordered huss, which was meaty and full of flavour, as it should be. Huge portion of crispy chips. I saw a sushi order being collected and that looked excellent too. A great local, family run place which I plan to return to. One warning - they don't take cards, so you either have to pay cash or arrange a bank transfer which is a bit of a hassle. .”

“I haven't bought any products from AVS but I did pull in to their customers car park when my car broke down. The staff were understanding and friendly and gave me a hot coffee on a cold and miserable day. I'm not local to Ringmer but if I do need fencing or landscaping products i will be jumping in my (soon to be) working car and heading to AVS!”

“I Timber are top-notch oak specialists who make all sorts of lovely furniture and more besides. Having discovered them on the net, I spotted and bought a solid oak block table, and although the first attempt got a little bit bashed while in transit, that was no problem for this company, whose ultra-speedy and friendly response meant that a replacement block turned up in a matter of days - in perfect condition, and looking very beautiful! We're so pleased with it. I really can't recommend the product quality and service I've experienced from I Timber highly enough, and would like to thank Radka especially, for being always kind and helpful. “This is a pretty decent Sainsburys. It's been jazzed up to a more modern look in the last year or so, but it's still a steadfast part of the Lewes Road area. Walk in or drive in. Parking is almost always available, and there's the Argos inside at the entrance like it's own little shop.”
