“We had an impromptu bar lunch here. Dog friendly. Gorgeous soup, tasty braised venison and focaccia bread which was honestly the best I've ever tasted..honey and fennel seeds. Lovely woodland walks around. Will now plan to come back”

“Now, people are always very quick to complain, but never quick to priase. So, here's my review for them. Actually my second time visiting this coffee shop. I love the atmosphere, it's so friendly, helpful and professional. Excellent pricing, too! The manager, Katie, I believe was so friendly when I went in for my first coffee. I had a little laugh and a joke about the wide variety of cakes and pastries, as I'm on a Keto diet. She told me they were "sugar free!" I nearly fell for it. I had my coffee outside, nice little area, plenty of room, too. I loved it so much, I went in for another coffee. I told them it was actually one of the best coffees I've had from coffee shops. Most are bitter or they look and taste like the coffee hasn't been changed since 1973!!! :0) Again, I spoke to Wendy on the 2nd trip in, and I believe Wendy, the assistant manager served me this time. Absolutely brilliant senses of humour, and even wanted to know which of them served up the best coffee.....I'm getting ready to run now!! :0) Anyhoo, I highly recommend this coffee/eatery. I will definitely be coming back, especially as they have a reward system. ( stamping for each hot beverage. )”

“Food was excellent and well prepared. Staff were great and very accommodating. This is a traditional pub which is reflected in the menu. There is a good selection of drinks available. Other patrons were welcoming so you don't feel that you are an outsider if you are not a regular at the establishment.”

“We stayed 4 nights in a ground floor double room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and spacious, bed was comfortable. It was hot week and they kindly put a fan in the room. The lounge is relaxing and comfortable with a nice outlook onto steyne gardens. The breakfast is amazing, can't fault it. Excellent choice and quality plus the service is top class. Staff are really nice and helpful, we didn't get everyone's names but big hi to Vicky and Tim. We will definitely stay again next time we're down that way from Essex. Best wishes Ian and Denise.”

“I first came here on my birthday in December and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food and the prices! We’ve been back every month since, it’s brilliant for big tables or an intimate dinner of 2, I just love it. They make a big effort if it’s someone’s birthday and considering when we came last night we must of been quite loud (apologies!) but they were so cool with us and had great banter. So relaxed! Considering the big portion sizes and yummy food, I’m surprised how cheap it is as well. Definitely my favourite Italian in worthing at the moment. Thanks guys we’ll see you next month!”

“The last time I was here was in 2023… for some reason Google doesn’t allow a new review just updates. Anyway I think the restaurant has changed hands recently but the quality of the food was just as good. Had the calamari, fish & chips, fish pie. All tasty and very good value. Could have done with an extra staff member as the poor waiter was running around but all in all just as good as last time (2023) Lovely restaurant with nice staff. Sitting outside in the sun was great even if on a busy road. Calamari was some of the nicest I’ve had in a long time. Dressed crab was fresh & salad accompaniment was lovely. Fish tacos were a big portion & all chips were homemade. 2starts 2 mains and a bottle of wine for just under £70. Excellent”

“We decided to enjoy a roast at The Egremont and were lucky to arrive early enough to get the last table before they filled up with 100 pre booked roast dinners I ordered the lamb shank, while my friend chose beef, both served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots, and parsnips—much more than we expected! We also shared a giant portion of cauliflower cheese and some massive pigs in blankets, which we affectionately dubbed The Egremont sausage surprise. The food was delicious and plentiful, and I even shared some of the pigs in blankets with the neighboring table, & bought some food home - If you plan to go, I recommend making a reservation! “We love this cafe, the proprietors are lovely and welcoming.Although there is a substantial menu I usually have the breakfast burger as it's my favourite and my wife enjoys a jacket potato or the macaroni cheese! A nice selection of cakes are available and the coffee is really nice. In case you wondered, I highly recommend this cafe in Tarring village.”

“A massive thank you for making my 60th last night so special (Nov 2nd, 2024). I've been going to this amazing pub since my 20's and more often in my mid 40's with my daughter and her crew. Good times were had & great memories were made. When asked what I wanted to do for my 60th, JB's was the obvious choice. I wasn't disappointed! This little pub hasn't changed in 40 years! Proper traditional pub. The staff are awesome! The barman even remembered me from 16/17 years ago! It was like 'going home'. Thank you to the staff and everyone, especially the new friends we made, for making my birthday so special! ❤️”

“I had lunch at this lovely restaurant. Small plates are good for sharing. Love their cocktails and mocktails. It has got the panorama view of the sea. You can even see Brighton！The service is casual and friendly. It is a shame it is going to close.”

“Came here this afternoon woth my partner and was greated at the door by the manager who showed us to our table, we were promptly served by mitch who acted professionally and welcoming. The pizzas were delicious, large with a good ammount of toppings, the doughballs were hot and fluffy and the halloumi bites were well seasoned. The passion fruit cocktails were lovely and sweet with a good kick to them. For gluten free dining i cant recommend this place enough, the staff took great care and all gluten free food had stickers making them clearly marked. 10/10”

“I recently visited this Sri Lankan restaurant in Worthing and had the most incredible dining experience. I tried their Koththu and Biriyani, and both dishes were exceptional, bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff including Kugan and Sampath were so friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. “Popped in for dinner. Fairly early so there were loads of tables free. Menu offers a great choice with plenty to offer what ever your taste. Staff were great and on hand to explain the menu if you weren’t familiar with Greek food beyond a moussaka for example. What we had was superb. Great flavour and wonderfully cooked and the portions are very generous. You won’t leave wanting more than I can assure you.”

“Our evening at Thieves' Kitchen was fantastic! It was our last day of our holiday in Worthing and we are really sad that we didn't find our way to the pub sooner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. There were four of us and we brought our two dachshunds with us, who were given a warm welcome with a water bowl and dog biscuits, just like us. We highly recommend it and will gladly return if we are ever in the area again!”

“Having never had anything from here before a friend visiting from Staffordshire recommended this place when they used to live here and have to admit it didn't disappoint. “Been going to Nooris for years and years now, can’t believe I’ve never left a review before! Ever since I was a little girl, it’s been my family’s go to restaurant! The staff are so lovely and friendly and always so happy to see us, we love talking to them. The food is always incredible, the quality has never declined. This is genuinely my favourite curry house in all of the UK. I moved to Bristol 4 years ago, but I still haven’t found anywhere that compares. Every time I come back to visit my parents, we always have to come back here! We love it so much! I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen, one of my all time favourites!”
