“After finishing a long cruise and disembarking in Southampton I had previously arranged a pick up with GQCars. Let’s just say the disembark was nothing but pure chaos, we were nearly 1hr late off due to technical reasons and then everyone was let off at the same time so bag collection became a nightmare. Throughout this time time I kept in touch with the driver who I now know to be Gary who was fantastic, totally understanding of the situation. He did everything possible with all the parking restrictions and the amount of vehicles in the vicinity to be as close as possible to pick us up with all our excessive luggage. The E class estate simply swallowed up all the bags and we sat in comfort and relaxed after a stressful morning. Gary was very nice and pleasant and chatted to us throughout the hr journey home. The car was immaculately clean and by the way the price was great value. We were lucky booking GQCars because I’m sure many other firms would have driven off with all the delays or charged us extra for the waiting time. The price stayed the same as we agreed a week earlier, clearly I tipped well as it was thoroughly deserved. Will be using again on all future Southampton cruises for sure and can’t recommend enough. “Unbelievable experience!! Customer service is outstanding!! I stumbled across a bike I liked online and went to the nearest store to see it in person. I saw a really cheap cannondale and thought as a beginner it would be a decent upgrade to a known brand and well within budget. I then spotted (right next to it) a trek marlin 7 which was in a special offer. I was talking to the assistant and he said it was better but left me to ponder on my own, which I thought was nice. After answering many many questions I decided to buy the trek as it was much more bike for the money. At no point was there “upselling” and they let me go through my motions. I brought the bike and some extras, which they fitted for me and it was ready to collect within 24 hours! Josh, Stan, Connor and Carl at the Brighton branch are fantastic with customers, knowledgeable and never speak down to you or get annoyed with questions. All of them were helpful and explained everything in detail. If you are in the Brighton area and need a bike, do not look any further. I will be going there for all bike related purchases from here on out. Halfords….. who?! Lol”
