“Nice place where you can enjoy your time sitting inside or outside. Small menu what in my opinion equals to fresh ingredients, also the pizza dough was really good, we all really liked it, however I think the best part of it was the staff friendliness. The restaurant is located in a quiet area, so if you want to go out and chill a bit alone, with family or friends, I highly recommend it.”

“Doesn't look much from the street but the the pizzas are top quality. Good service and excellent value for money. The main part of the restaurant is hidden away at the back and although we haven't tried it I'm sure we will do so in the future.”

“I’ve been here a couple times and it always taste as good as it looks, there are large selections of Italian foods from Pastas, Rissotos, Pizzas and the best Gelatos. We’ve ordered the Calamari Fritti and is well seasoned and very crispy we’ve also ordered the famous Crab Spaghetti and is very delicious( Note: If you ordered the Crab Spaghetti I advised sharing with your friends or family the amount on of food you get is a lot and more than I’ll expect), the ravioli is decent as well and in terms of the service is really good the young lady server she decided to gift my friend an extra scoop of ice cream. :D”

“We had a wonderful dinner yesterday at The Salt Room. The restaurant was full of atmosphere, yet we were comfortably seated at a large table. The service was excellent – the waiters were friendly, attentive, and clearly very professional. On their advice, we ordered the monkfish to share, served with mussels and moqueca sauce. It was simply gorgeous – beautifully cooked and full of flavour. To finish, we had the lemon tart and truffles, both of which were outstanding. A truly memorable dining experience. “Came for dinner on Sat night. I've been coming here for years, and have always loved it. Dinner on Sat was perfect, Catherine our waiter was on point, attentive and charming. “I’ve only ever ordered pizzas from here and last nights pizza was superb. I’m fussy and it ticked every box there is for delicious and well cooked food . On top of that the staff rang and confirmed where I lived and it arrived piping hot. The delivery guy almost told me not to tip him and gave me tips on keeping warm because I was cold. I wouldn’t get pizzas anywhere else. From the chefs and supporting staff my takeaway was perfect. Thank you. Xx”

“Brilliant Italian food! A lovely restaurant, friendly staff and a great choice on the menu! Went here for my birthday and it was the best lunch. The lasagne was delicious and the fudge cake. I’d definitely recommend! It’s in a lovely part of Brighton.”

“What a pleasant surprised. Trying to find a table for 5 at midday for a spontanous roast is a tricky find when you call up most places and theyre fully booked until 5:30pm that evening - we were so lucky that wasn't the case with La Piazza and I imagine its because no one would think that this resturant would do such a great roast! Hoenestly - the portion size inceedible, the beef thin, the pork belly wasn't too crisp that we couldn't bite into the top, so yummy and the chicken was also really really good! All five of us were really happy with our choice. Would defintely go again and recommend to others. Really lovely variation of veggies too.”

“Really liked this place. Came here on a Wednesday evening with booking a table beforehand. I would suggest you'd do the same as it was full for a Wednesday (always a good sign). We ordered drinks, two small plates and two large plates and it came out of the kitchen really quickly (we were eating main meal in the next 20-25 minutes). After that we decided to have a dessert and with that it took one whole hour to order, get the desserts, finish and pay. So the service was a bit slow in the end but nothing to complain about as they were really nice and friendly. I loved the food, fairly priced and loved the fresh ingredients. One thing that bothered me was the lamb's lettuce on everything. Could be at least flavored, or maybe not there at all? I loved the atmosphere of the place, pretty decor, nice music...somebody really thought this through. Overall a great experience and would definitely visit again.”

“Hidden away, this gem of a rock bar is definitely one to visit. The bar area is fairly small, but they have an area upstairs that houses bands. Didn't have time to go up and have a watch, but sounded good. Drinks were cheap and the music was good. Next time I'm in the area will definitely be visiting again.”

“My sister and I made a pilgrimage here from the U.S., as our 3rd great grandparents ran the pub about 200 years ago. We happened in on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the Sunday roast along with l excellent service. Everything was delicious and top notch. On learning of our presence, the manager came and welcomed us. Thanks for everything, Seven Stars!”

“Atmosphere was a bit quiet as there was a huge storm outside so it was less busy than usual. It's normally lively and enjoyable though. Food was exceptionally good, as it always is here. Great value, especially with the annual members card. Fantastic variety, catering for veggies and vegans too, yay! Would love a bit more vegan protein that isn't fake meat, but hey, I'm not complaining, just gently suggesting! Staff are always friendly, capable, available and competent. “The salad bar is my favorite. I appreciate the wide selection of vegetables with several sauces to choose from. I also recommend the pizzas; there are eight varieties to choose from, and they are delicious. Drinks and desserts are not included in the price and need to be purchased separately. “Stopped by The Sportsman Stonehouse and had the Meat Feast Calzone...it was spot on. Loads of flavour, plenty of filling, and the dough was cooked just right. The price felt fair for the quality, the place was clean, and there is lots of parking spaces.The staff were really friendly (Louise and Taran) and welcoming, which made it a nice visit. I’d happily come back again.”
