“Worked with Tom over a number of months during ACL rehab, and am now back playing field sports for two months without any incidents. Enjoyed everything about my experience at the Medical - booking appointments was easy and at a reasonable price, and the sessions and work was difficult but achievable! Would recommend to anyone.”
“More gyms in one place than I've ever seen, and uni gyms weren't like these in my day! Oh what a time to be alive. And a student.”
“As a caving club (Mendip Nature Research Committee or MNRC for short), we have used Arleen Coaches for a number of years now to take us to our annual dinner and the service has been exceptional every time we have used them. Always bang on time and really friendly. We will continue to use for years.”
“Lovely friendly football club. we were on a stag party had a meal before the game and were looked after very well. Plus Bath City won.”
“Having studied Shiatsu at another school for one and a half years, I took a three month taster course with Frank Davies of Bath School of Shiatsu and Yoga. In terms of Shiatsu techniques, I can truthfully say I learned more in those three months with him than I'd learned in a year and a half with my previous school. Such was the force of this realisation, I decided to go back to the first year with him and start my learning journey right from the beginning again - and this has been a very good decision! Frank's integration of Yoga - which I am not good at - and emphasis on posture makes the process of giving Shiatsu not only more comfortable as a practitioner, but a more fluid and enjoyable experience for the recipient. As a tutor Frank is exacting. But the consistency of his approach to teaching and his immense encouragement builds my confidence, and also my hunger to learn more and more. His passion for what he does is infectious and his sense of humour fills our beautiful workspace. Beyond that, his love for his students is tangible. And his patience... I'll admit I must have tested this in him, but have been met only with kindness and further encouragement. I can't recommend this course more highly. It has changed my life, and I have a huge sense of gratitude for this.”
“My son had a great time last summer, lots of outdoor fun and exercise. We're away this year or would have done another summer course.”
“Provided expert advice when buying my first tennis racket.”
“I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The room was clean, well-furnished, and offered a comfortable bed along with all the expected amenities like a mini-fridge, kettle, and complimentary toiletries. One of the highlights was the breakfast — a good variety of options and everything was fresh. The hotel’s location was also convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers. It strikes a good balance between comfort, convenience, and value for money.”
“The buses leave very frequently so there isn't a crowd of people wanting to take the seats up top. There are discounts for students and senior citizens which was very good for me and my parents. The tickets are reasonably priced, particularly as are valid on the city area tour and Skyline route. I enjoyed the Skyline route better because wasn't dense with tourists and lets you appreciate the scenery which, in my opinion, is more beautiful than the historical monuments that most tourists seem to be more interested in. There was quite a jolly tour guide on the Skyline route and the city route bus had recorded narrations in different languages. It made the experience more informative and memorable.”
“I have been coming to Baskervilles gym for nearly 5 years now as a student at the Uni of Bath. The gym have run gymnastics training for the snow sports club for as long as I have been a member. Paul especially has always taken care of us and tailores his gymnastics expertise to movements for us on skis in the park. I have seen many friends and myself take skills and exercises we have learned in the gym to improve ourselves on the slopes. The team always do a great job adapting our sessions to all the various skill levels of the members we bring. Everyone equally has a great time and has the opportunity to progress!”
“Stumbled across this traditional, proper, English pub and what a refreshing change to a more modern boozer. A wide range of spirits, especially the rum selection. The barman was of a rare breed, where he looked after his customer's needs and was an ear for anyone with troubles or tales to tell. The owner/landlord was a character you rarely see nowadays. Buy him a shot and make a friend. The music, classic British. The decor classic British. With pictures of spitfires, British forces and Nigel Farage what more can you ask for. Oh, and beer is great. Try the black rat for cider lovers. Hope to stumble across it again soon. Cheers for the beers.”
“Lovely pub in a fantastic location. Staff were really friendly and we had a lovely time. I had the soup and the only vegan main, the portobello mushroom. I brought a giant dog and came in with my friend and his elderly dad. We were all very well looked after.”
“Visited this pub twice while on vacation in the UK. Enjoyable, relaxing, friendly with good food. Recommend.”
“I’ve been here a couple of times now and both occasions have been very pleasant. Really good sandwiches, tasty coffee (fair trade is a bonus!), friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Looking forward to trying the cakes!”
“A friend introduced me to Scott's classes almost a year ago. I'm so happy to say that I've finally found joy in working out, as I was never keen of the gym. Scott puts a lot of effort in making every class unique, never repeating exercises. I recommend his classes to everyone looking to have fun and a good workout.”
“I moved over from Belfast to the Bath area in late 2022 and immediately became a member at Lansdown Tennis Club. Since then I have had both group and individual coaching with Bluesky Tennis. The coaches have all been very friendly, attentive and welcoming. They provide individual feedback and make the lessons fun and helpful. I look forward to each session!”
“We have always wanted to try this pub, as we have lived in Bath for over a year now. We came in Saturday and asked about their Sunday roast, and how the cauliflower cheese was done. Daniel said “I’ll show you” he then went into the kitchen and made his home made Yorkshire pudding and a pot of cauliflower cheese, as a taster. This was amazing, so we came back for the roast on Sunday and wasn’t disappointed the size of the plate and food was fantastic. They also put the Women’s Rugby on for us, which was a bonus. Lovely place, with friendly staff and will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.”
“Brilliant Club: good mix of players, very sociable and welcoming to new members, courts in great shape, excellent coaching for individuals and groups”
