“Lovely hostel up a hill. Getting to and from it is an adventure for the children, and me! Stayed in a nice, private ensuite family room. spacious self catering room. Doesn't have a cooker but has air fryer ovens. Pleasant atmosphere. Amazing views. I would advise taking additional pillows with you. We have now stayed at a number of YHA hostels. Always positive and good value for money. Thank you YHA Bath.”

“Wonderful two nights at the Rudloe Arms. A very unique hotel and each room is different in the manor house. Super cool furniture and photos of beautiful people on the walls. The food was great every night as well as breakfast. The staff went far and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, especially the manager Stephen. He moved my father to a room that was easier for him as he is 85 and not very mobile. We came back and all bags were moved and taken care of. It was my father’s birthday and they made a special desert for him. Incredible grounds as well, just a really special hotel. Will be back!”

“We did a bauble making glass blowing thing here. It was superbly entertaining. The 2 guys who were doing the glass making were not only knowledgeable but friendly and funny as well as clearly skilled in their art. Everyone was really friendly. Collected the baubles today and they look great.”

“I had a helix piercing done by Mike a couple of weeks ago. He was really welcoming, knowledgeable and put me at ease, with no pressure to rush into a decision. The studio was clean and you get the impression no corners are being cut. The jewellery is beautiful, with a range of designs, many produced by Mike himself. The procedure went smoothly and is currently healing well. I don’t know how the price compares to other places but I feel I’ve come away with some lovely jewellery, a sound piercing, decent aftercare advice and peace of mind.”

“Unfortunately I can't say much about rooms or location, as I only entered the establishment twice this week for a course I was talking. But what i can tell you is based off of the ground floor, it Is a very nice building. A lot of charm, character and style you don't really get much of nowadays. The staff were smashing too! I may have briefly conversed with about 7 of the staff between both days. Each one as kind, friendly and well mannered as the next. One gentleman in particular, really helped a lot of us out in my course when we needed to print things off and stuff. From being in similar positions myself at work I can appreciate it may have been a pain but he was very respectful and assisted everyone. It is a shame I did not have the pleasure of attending the hotel as a room guest, as I expect I would have had a nice time. But if I am in the area again I will be sure to check it out.”
