“Extremely welcoming staff who I don't envy, as the customer service needs to be tip top considering the heightened price you pay over anywhere else. But in terms of the town centre, there isn't another place like it, but I tend to go just for the staff, especially the big chap, he is always so helpful.”

“We are so pleased that we chose Howdens Chippenham from the many kitchen retailers. The service has been flawless from start to finish . They are all so friendly and helpful. We needed to exchange a few items and there was no problem at all with sorting this. The kitchen components are of a very high standard and we are delighted with the finished room ( Elmbridge / sage green) We would highly recommend choosing them . Special thanks to Chris, Matt, and the very helpful drivers too.”

“Despite all the brilliant reviews, I had an impression that this would be a slightly cheesy place because of the name and all the ‘coq’ puns. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s a very cool, intimate atmosphere with vibey music and lovely staff. The food was incredible - both the veggie and chicken options - and generous portions. We didn’t have room for pudding so took home a little tiramisu, which is also homemade. Super impressed, and we will be regulars - but please please open a branch in Devizes :-)”

“Lovely little tea room, sadly as I have the dog it's not really possible to go in there, but they do takeaway so go and grab some of the random assortment of various cakes on offer. They also do doggy ice cream so dogs are rather happy too after doing the 4.5 mile circular walk around the High Street.”

“I needed suits for my wedding for myself, groomsmen, father of the bride and father of the groom. Aaron and his colleagues in Outfit78 were so accommodating, welcoming and always happy to help. The process was simple and the value for money and quality you get is second to none. If you’re looking for suits for any occasion, whether it be weddings or any other events, renting or buying, I could not recommend anywhere better.”

“Beautiful National Trust site. Excellent walks with stunning views. Dyrham Park house is just stunning with beautiful gardens, church, and ponds. You have video history, tea rooms, and a mobility bus for the elderly and disabled. Really helpful, informative staff. We would highly recommend.”

“We've been to La Passione a few times now. This is the first time to go whilst under new management and name change to Amici. They honoured our La Passione gift vouchers. The food was very tasty. The pizza was cooked better than the times we went when the place was called La Passione. The service was more attentive. Only thing negative is that it took a long time for food to come.”

“We dined here for a 30th Birthday Celebration and left very full and satisfied! I give the food a 4/5 as I didn’t really enjoy the seaweed custard as it didn’t taste of anything, just like a plain cold custard. This was the only disappointing dish on the menu and I appreciate the skill of the dish, even though the flavour was lacking. The best dish for us was the dessert as it was unbelievable and ticked every box! We also loved the Cod, full of flavour!”

“We have just had a wonderful 4 night break in one of the studio cottages. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack, which includes lovely homemade bread was an added bonus. Room was clean and the shower a treat. Local pub did great food that you can walk to in 5 minutes. What sets this place above others is the host. Angela was wonderful and friendly. She allows you to fish in their large pond and if like us, you may be lucky and see the kingfisher too. I am sure we will return.”

“My partner and I came across the Emporium showroom in Lacock and instantly fell in love with their kitchens. Charlie was incredibly friendly, and told us their whole process of designing, making and fitting their kitchens from start to finish. We booked a morning with Nigel who came to our to look at our current kitchen, which was dated, lacked space and a pain to work in. Nigel is extremely knowledgeable, and gave us some fantastic ideas we’d never thought it. Our kitchen is now done it’s better than we’d ever imagined. The team were very friendly, a great laugh to have around and so helpful along the way. You would also think handmade bespoke kitchens may not be affordable, we were amazed at the price. We can’t recommend these guys more! Thank you”

“Our stay at the White Hart Ford was lovely! Quaint, charming, and quiet location for our three-night stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Nikki helped us arrange an early AM taxi to the airport when Uber was not available. The Sunday roast was amazing! Overall, wonderful time and happy to have gotten to experience this adorable place.”

“Friendly staff and punters. Parking was awkward as they had film crews taking up the car park when I visited, but I assume this is not a normal thing. However the food was very good and the portion size was very generous. I had a burger and it was superb.”

“I'm here often, the coffee is great and the cakes on offer are excellent! In spring, summer, and later autumn, you can sit outside on a lovely warm terrace and be served your drinks and food. It's my time out space, I've often come here to stop, think, and look for a while and the staff are always friendly and helpful too. Plus the added advantage of beautiful cake, the pear cake is delicious and with a great latte your well on your way to a great pit stop and top up to set you right for the rest of the day!”
