“Popped in while traveling. Arrived not too long after opening and were seen immediately. All staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food we had was out of this world and everything we saw others ordering looked just sublime. We had the swordfish which melted in the mouth and everything comes with veg and both roast and dauphinoise potatoes. If you have the chance to eat here, do so you will not regret it.”

“Came here for a group of friend’s Christmas meal as previous meals have always been excellent. Lived up to expectations. “We dined here for a 30th Birthday Celebration and left very full and satisfied! I give the food a 4/5 as I didn’t really enjoy the seaweed custard as it didn’t taste of anything, just like a plain cold custard. This was the only disappointing dish on the menu and I appreciate the skill of the dish, even though the flavour was lacking. The best dish for us was the dessert as it was unbelievable and ticked every box! We also loved the Cod, full of flavour!”

“Despite all the brilliant reviews, I had an impression that this would be a slightly cheesy place because of the name and all the ‘coq’ puns. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s a very cool, intimate atmosphere with vibey music and lovely staff. The food was incredible - both the veggie and chicken options - and generous portions. We didn’t have room for pudding so took home a little tiramisu, which is also homemade. Super impressed, and we will be regulars - but please please open a branch in Devizes :-)”
