“We lucked into the most magical day on our Cotswolds tour with Chris as our guide! What to say? We were excited for it but the tour so exceeded even our most hopeful expectations. Chris brought us to several villages-- and on the fly curated the trip around our expressed interests and those of the additional guest (who was also an amazing human and like a friend by the end of the tour!). He is unbelievably knowledgable. But what sets Chris apart is the way he distills complex history into an understandable story that very quickly facilitates enhanced appreciation for the deep significance of these places beyond their obvious beauty. I took pages of notes and came away with an intense desire to learn more about the place and British history. As an added bonus, Chris is funny, witty, helpful, kind, and interested. He is passionate about history and traveling and that all just enhanced is story telling. It truly was an experience of a lifetime and we are so grateful to Chris for that gift. On the more business like side-- pick up was prompt, van was great, water appreciated, tea and lunch spots authentic and wonderfully charming. “With only a short amount of time in Bath this weekend, we were advised to join one of the Mayor of Bath’s Honorary Guides’ free walking tours, which depart from outside the Pump Room - which was an excellent recommendation. Our guide for the two-hour tour was Simon, whose enthusiasm, warmth, and depth of knowledge brought the city’s history to life as we explored its back streets, landmarks, and hidden corners. He made a genuine effort to connect with everyone in the group, tailoring anecdotes and facts to people’s interests whether related to geography, culture, or simply where they were from. The tour was informative, entertaining, and surprisingly unique, especially considering the challenges of navigating Bath’s narrow lanes, busy roads, hills, and uneven pavements. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. We were also delighted and a little astonished to learn that the guides do not accept tips. It’s a wonderful way to discover a city from people who share its stories purely out of passion for the place they call home.”

“The buses leave very frequently so there isn't a crowd of people wanting to take the seats up top. There are discounts for students and senior citizens which was very good for me and my parents. The tickets are reasonably priced, particularly as are valid on the city area tour and Skyline route. I enjoyed the Skyline route better because wasn't dense with tourists and lets you appreciate the scenery which, in my opinion, is more beautiful than the historical monuments that most tourists seem to be more interested in. There was quite a jolly tour guide on the Skyline route and the city route bus had recorded narrations in different languages. It made the experience more informative and memorable.”

“Wow, I can’t give Hugo and his team enough stars. Even with some weather delays they were able to find us a safe place to launch from. Hugo helped coordinate the ride knowing it was a surprise engagement for me and my partner as we were visiting from the states and had limited options to reschedule. The whole process went extremely smooth and even with my fear of heights, I felt safe in that balloon in the sky looking down at the helicopters. It is such a unique experience and Hugo and his team really help make it unforgettable. Thanks again and I highly recommend, if you’re on the fence just take the leap of faith and book it!!”

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the warm welcome I received from the staff. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the little kitchenette area, which was stocked with all the essentials for making a cup of tea or a light meal. The location of Hiding Space Bath UK is also fantastic - just a short walk from the city center, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. And yet, despite its central location, the room was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making for a great night's sleep. Overall, I can't recommend Hiding Space Bath UK highly enough. “Good size room with a nice seating area, small dining area and a good size kitchen with all the commodities you could expect. Bathroom was nicely done out and the toiletries provided were really nice. The location was perfect. Bath is a small city and this was in a great location for the attractions and for bars and restaurants. We found the soundproofing very good and any noise heard was from other residents within the corridors. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others staying in Bath.”
