“Called in on a whim, after visiting at the Royal Gwent Hospital. Immediately impressed by the choice and chatty informative service from the young lady at the counter. Chose a selection of 'Noodle Pots' to take home and can easily say this is one of the best takeaway I've had in ages. Great presentation in the 'boxes' nice fresh veg and really clean distinctive flavours really hit the spot. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu and raving about this experience for a while.”

“We had an absolutely amazing wedding at De Courceys! My now WIFE!.. and I highly recommend this venue. It’s not just an amazing venue, from the garden grounds, the decor inside the venue but the staff just make everything so perfect. We were never without, they helped us at every turn and couldn’t do enough for us. This included us helping set up and take everything down at the end. The food was absolutely incredible, every single guest complemented how good the food was. We had several vegan & vegetarians at our dinner & they were highly impressed. Lewis and Lucy were just incredibly warm and friendly people. They were calm and had all the answers. Lucy got us through the day smoothly. The pamper suite for the bride to be was excellent, as were all the other rooms at the venue. We honestly couldn’t think of anything negative, this place is 100% a golden choice for any future couples! Thank you to De Courceys for everything! We will treasure our wedding forever! “This is an amazing park right in the centre of Cardiff with lots to see and it's very peaceful for a walk in the evening. There's plenty to do from adult fitness to a visitor centre to checking out the interpretive signs about the trees and wildlife. This was a great find and a must-see for anybody in Cardiff”

“The owner Steve, is an absolutely lovely guy & nothing was too much trouble. I arrived at 12pm & Steve checked me in straight away. The guest house was absolutely spotless & the grounds were immaculate. I stayed in room 2 which had a very comfy bed, tv, great WiFi connection, charging points next to the bed, tea/coffee facilities & ensuite. The breakfast was first class. Each room also has 1 parking space. Ty Castell is in an excellent location & only a 2 minute walk to the town centre & train station. I will definitely stay again when in the area & highly recommend this guest house.”

“We recently celebrated our wedding at Batch and had the most wonderful time from start to finish. Planning, organising, and experiencing the day was made as smooth as possible with their wonderful team. The rooms were comfortable for all of our guest. The food and drinks were delightful and dietary requirements were catered to seamlessly. The grounds are beautiful and there was even a nesting swan on the river bank.”

“Nartnapa was a wonderful find! My friend and I were staying the night just next to the restaurant, at Sunny Lyn Holiday Park, while hiking the South West Coast Path. Having walked 20 miles that day, we didn't want to have to walk down (and up again) the big hill into Lynmouth, so we took a chance and popped our heads in at Nartnapa to see if they could fit us in for dinner that night. We were greeted with smiling faces and confirmation that they could seat us. The ambience was happy yet calm, with lots of other satisfied customers already enjoying their food. Our meals were delicious (prawn green curry and pad Thai), and the sticky toffee puddings afterwards really hit the spot. This restaurant is more than just "convenient if staying at Sunny Lyn" - it would be worth a special trip just to enjoy the menu and friendly service.”

People are often surprised by the beautiful buildings and extensive gardens and grounds hidden in the suburb of Llandaff. We have also found the staff to be welcoming and very helpful. “Sara was the best host and the B&B is lovely and quaint! 15 of my wife's family stays there for our wedding and Sara couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, from fresh baked welsh cakes on arrival, organising a cooked breakfast for everyone the morning of the wedding to even allowing & taking the children to see all the farm animals. a beautiful cottage in a great location for big groups and families I couldn't recommend it more highly!
