On 8 November, our party of 23 gathered to celebrate my niece’s 50th birthday and everyone – from the children to the most discerning guest – was impressed. The star of the show? The food: beautifully presented, rich in flavour and reliably excellent. Booking ahead meant we could all pick our menus, which made the evening run smoothly. The service was exceptional from start to finish: friendly, attentive and genuinely hospitable. The fact the owner even has a French wine ready for me, knowing I prefer it, speaks volumes. Extra bonus: we were welcomed to bring our own birthday cake (and what a chocolate-tower it was!), and staff were only delighted to help make the moment special. “Ordered on Uber Eats. Loaded chips were cheesy and extremely tasty. Wings were also amazing, do wish they had the option to add more spicy peppers to the chips but that's just me. Will be making this my regular takeaway now !”

“Delicious! This was our second visit. My boys were desperate to go back to their favourite restaurant. They had fresh and very tasty pizza (which they scored 500/10!) And I thourally enjoyed the chicken shawarma wrap and pot of tea. Really welcoming and helpful staff, easy to find, not too busy and gorgeous food.... we will be back!”

“Had Stratopramen. A pint is £4.40. Bartender was really friendly, funny and experienced. Would definitely go again. There's a cool gong to denote last order. An actual gong. Good WiFi, plenty of tables and comfy seating. Great place to cosy up after a long day at work. Nice spacious open plan layout with a few pool tables.”

I'd recommend the prawns balls, love their chips, and the satays and currys are lovely, especially the way they do their satays. Would recommend. 100%.”
