“Totally impressed with the professionalism at Crosslands, first time leaving our 3 girls together in kennels and reviewed a few before settling with Crosslands. 3 big girls with different personalities and was filled with confidence as soon as they were dropped off, staff were confident handling them and they didn’t even look back as they walked away. All have come home healthy and happy. It’s great to have the peace of mind that the girls are safe and happy whilst we are away and it’s something that has prevented us going away for a while.”

“The place to go if you want to get photos of kingfishers. You might get lucky and see one quickly, you might have to wait many hours, but generally if you're patient you will be rewarded. The first hide is best as the perches are a lot closer. Nice walks around the area as well, with beautiful colours along the old canal and you can loop around to the river Taff. Plenty of other wildlife around and kids will enjoy the hides when the rabbits and squirrels turn up.”

“We've been using Gedrys for two years now, regularly boarding our reactive rescue collie overnight. The staff are so kind and friendly, and we love checking in on their Instagram to see photos and videos while he's staying. They really seem to understand dogs and take the best care of them. Couldn't recommend more highly.”

“We had our daughters 3rd birthday here this morning. Everything was perfect! The children’s areas were spotless and everything was organised when we arrived. The table and decorations ( I chose unicorn ) was already laid out beautifully. We couldn’t have asked for more, I felt that all the staff were totally dedicated to ensuring my daughter , her friends and family were totally catered for and that this was her special day. Good food options , cooked fresh and served on a lovely party table. Staff were extremely attentive and continually supported and helped me throughout the party. Staff were relaxed and friendly but also completely professional and everything ran like clockwork. I would recommend to anyone , especially for six and under who want a party where the children can play but mums and dads can still relax with a coffee knowing the little ones are close and safe. Fantastic party ! Thank you to everyone today who made our daughter’s birthday so special.”

He's loved his time here, learning lots of things and making friends as he progressed from babies to toddlers to pre-schoolers. His social skills, speech, reading and writing have grown extensively in the nursery and he has a great relationship with all staff/children there. A great care is shown for the children and good communication maintained with us, the parents at all times. Thank you”

“lovely little nursery, they have an app for parents to see what their children are doing and eating throughout the day. Lovely staff members who are always welcoming and have the children's best interests at heart, they have a super clean environment and always ensure the children are happy. If they have any questions they aren't afraid to ask parents and always answer any questions we may have. couldn't recommend a better nursery for my children to go to :)”

“Both my daughters have had a wonderful time at Fun Foundations, and from my own (and their) experience I see no reason to recognise the negative comments from other reviewers. Amy is great, the staff are helpful, and the wrap-around care going through to Y-Bont-Faen primary works well. The site in North Road is one of a very few places in Cowbridge where you could consider a viable Nursery, as it offers half-decent parking. In addition, the food is good, the hygiene standards excellent, and the toys are frankly no more scuzzy than any nursery I've ever seen. If it's friends and fond memories you want your children to have, I am glad mine went there.”

“They were happy to work with my difficult dog when no other groomer would/could and have been doing a fantastic job. When the groomer he had built rapport with was leaving, the business owner offered us to remain with Muddy Pawz and use a new groomer or follow his current groomer to avoid regression: putting our dog’s needs first. We chose to follow his current groomer as she does an amazing job with him and we don’t know whether a new groomer would have the same success, but we feel terrible for leaving as never would have for any other reason. Cannot recommend highly enough. Caring attitude towards doing their best for your dog that goes beyond business.”

“sent our 6 month old pup here after recommendations from a friend. it was her first time away from us and first time in kennels. She seems to have had a lovely time - had a few pupdates during my holiday, all looked to be happy and running about with the others. Steve and his staff were polite and courteous. would definitely recommend and she will be going again.”

Sarah went above and beyond by sending us frequent updates and lots of pictures, which reassured us that our cats were in great hands. When we returned from our holiday, they were all very happy and content, which showed us they received excellent care and attention whilst we were away. “This was a great place to board our dog. Figgy had all the comforts of home and was undoubtedly spoiled! She got out on walks, even if the weather was bad, and as a bonus we were sent videos and pictures of her settling in. If peace of mind for your dog is what you are after, I highly recommend Happy Dogs Home Boarding. Easy drop off and pick up. Martin usually responds within the hour if you have any questions. He is obviously a dog lover himself.”

“Denni has just started walking our dog for us, we met with Denni before the walks started to chat through everything and for her to get to know Wylie, who shiba inu, a breed known for their unique personality traits. She couldn't have been more interested in his breed and she has the patience of a saint with him! He has just started going on walks with other dogs and after his first one he had little barky dreams about all the fun he'd had”

“Anna is so loving and considerate towards our pet pooch! We were worried about having a dog walker, as we've never had one before, and our dog, Coby, is a staffy who can be very worried/sometimes lash out with other dogs. Anna took it all in her stride though, asked plenty of questions to provide a tailored, individualised service and has been both professional, warm and approachable. Coby is more than happy to see her in the day and everything is left where it should be as though she were never there. Absolutely excellent!”
