“We attended their Halloween family day event. It was excellent. We arrived at 10.30 and didn’t leave until closing at 3pm. The show was great for kids we watched it twice! Staff were amazing and friendly. Had a great day for a really reasonable price. Going to book for Xmas experience. Thank you for a great day”

“Lovely place to visit, the weather was great on the day and we all enjoyed it. We were able to walk to Watch Tower Bay and back through Knap Gardens before the tide came in. It was a lovely place to have a picnic and take pictures, the Pebble Beach on the other side of the walkway was just fantastic and the scenery quite exquisite. I wish I could have experienced sunset, I can only imagine how beautiful it would look. There's always a next time I guess, one thing I remember noticing was the air.was so crisp and clean and it was really relaxing and refreshing. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area, it is well worth the time. Parking might be a bit of an issue but we got there a bit early and were able to park quite close. Don't be put off though as there are still some side roads within walking distance that have no parking restrictions.”

“Only 2 hour parking available close by otherwise be prepared to walk a bit further for long term parking. Apparently walking distance from Barry train station and a downhill walk to the Bay - steep uphill walk when leaving. Seemingly clean (no rubbish spotted by us), sandy beach. Monday afternoon so very few people about and easy to find a spot to camp and BBQ our lunch. Must carry and dispose of your own rubbish. Water was lovely too”

“Rim motors is one of those garages that are situated just off the beaten track. The boss is not too afraid to get his hands dirty and work as hard as his staff. He has a few youngsters there learning the ropes. Plenty of experience though to help them. Huge place plenty of bays and I was totally impressed with the level of service I got. Reception friendly but close the door if you want to keep it that way in this cold snap. Prices keen. Greggs around the corner. Will be visiting this place again and possibly forgetting places that do not match up to it. Recently visited again nothing has changed. I like places like this that does the job and does it well.”

“We parked down the Knap and walked around. We sat on a bench while the children played tag on the grass for a while before we walked back the way we came. It's a lovely area to come and sit to have a chat while your children play. This area also looks great for picnics and to use with scooters and bikes. I would highly recommend this as a place to take tour children.”

“Karry's deli is a great place, with a huge selection of plant based /vegan goodies. she has everything you could possibly want from cheeses, chocolate, to frozen foods to pies, you name it she has it..?! Her deli is also pet friendly, so is perfect to call in with your dog to pick up something delicious for your lunch.. You won't be disappointed. If you're not able to visit her shop, Karry also offers a delivery service.. Check out her website. You won't be disappointed!”
