Water park in Barry

“A great park, lovely open space for walking the dog. With a little play park for the kids. Also has tennis courts that are maintained to a good standard. Public toilets available too.”

“A beautifully typical victorian park, tended regularly for some fabulous floral borders, they hold an array of events and the bowling green is very popular.”

“We were stranded at short notice and the Vale hotel took us in, gave us breakfast and looked after us for the entire day. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Sharon and Gerard took care of us like family. We are forever grateful. We will definitely be staying again.”

“Wow! I wish we'd found this great park earlier this summer. Splash pad was a big success with our granddaughter and the play ground was in good condition. A few benches near the splash pad would help but otherwise perfect.”

“Lovely place to visit, the weather was great on the day and we all enjoyed it. We were able to walk to Watch Tower Bay and back through Knap Gardens before the tide came in. It was a lovely place to have a picnic and take pictures, the Pebble Beach on the other side of the walkway was just fantastic and the scenery quite exquisite. I wish I could have experienced sunset, I can only imagine how beautiful it would look. There's always a next time I guess, one thing I remember noticing was the air.was so crisp and clean and it was really relaxing and refreshing. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area, it is well worth the time. Parking might be a bit of an issue but we got there a bit early and were able to park quite close. Don't be put off though as there are still some side roads within walking distance that have no parking restrictions.”

“its very nice beach side if you just would like enjoy the peace, quite and wind…but if u would like the sand then u should go to another side as there are all rocks there~”

“Only 2 hour parking available close by otherwise be prepared to walk a bit further for long term parking. Apparently walking distance from Barry train station and a downhill walk to the Bay - steep uphill walk when leaving. Seemingly clean (no rubbish spotted by us), sandy beach. Monday afternoon so very few people about and easy to find a spot to camp and BBQ our lunch. Must carry and dispose of your own rubbish. Water was lovely too”

“We parked down the Knap and walked around. We sat on a bench while the children played tag on the grass for a while before we walked back the way we came. It's a lovely area to come and sit to have a chat while your children play. This area also looks great for picnics and to use with scooters and bikes. I would highly recommend this as a place to take tour children.”

“The best place to go for coffee in Barry, and a great place to go and work! There's also a really lovely outside seating area that's perfect if you have dogs”

“Fun times ! This is a great fun 12 hole Crazy golf. The course is kept really clean and tidy and the putting greens are well maintained. Nice features - fog / sounds / water .”

“I visited adventure Island today with my grandaughter & it was busy but the 2 young ladies staff members were run off their feet & still smiling & happy. A big shout out to the 2 of them they were amazing, would definitely go again & recommend the place. The staff absolutely nailed it! X”
