“Delighted to go the Old Mill for lunch with friends. The welcome was as always warm and friendly. Our waitress was Lois who attended to us so well being friendly and very helpful. She paid do much attention to us and always had a smile on her face. The meal was as usual delicious and well presented. I love the Old Mill for its great menu and friendly atmosphere. “We had the most delicious meal for two at Amore Mio on Saturday 4th May. The food was deliciously tasty, well presented and served by a waiter who knew his food, was not over bearing but who was polite. Amore Mio is a little gem, hidden away with a great choice of starters, mains and desserts. We will definitely be returning here and would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant.”

“I come to this particular branch of Ask Italian fairly regularly and always leave happy so it felt wrong not to have that recognised in a review. Today I came by myself for lunch and I have to say the Lasagne Grande I had was spot on! I was served by Jaden and Maia who were delightful, never skipping a beat and constantly smiling. The atmosphere was also a highlight. Overall a great dining experience! This wasn’t my first time here and it certainly won’t be my last!”

“We went to Zizzi for lunch and had a lovely meal. The service was quick and polite, and the food was tasty. The complementary pasta crisps were a nice touch! I would say that the pasta dishes are a bit pricey, but not too expensive as a treat. Also, the restaurant was a bit dark.”

“I visited The Hungry Elephant this evening and had a fantastic experience. The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavours, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The naan bread, in particular, was cooked to perfection – soft, warm, and perfectly crisp on the edges. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble – they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Exceptional service paired with amazing food made for a truly enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!”

“Another place to add to my go to list for authentic Turkish food. The food was spot on with flavours and everything complemented each other. The staff were very polite whenever they were available. They were hardly seen though. The portion was generous and we enjoyed the dips and warm bread. The price was reasonable as well. It was an overall pleasant experience”

“Was absolutely fantastic, ordered it on a Friday at 5pm for it to arrive after 20 minutes! And we were the village over! The delivery driver was incredibly sweet also. The food was piping hot, which is always appreciated, and the food was well seasoned, even down to the pork rice. If you want a Chinese takeaway in the area surrounding Kenilworth or in Kenilworth, go with Tai Pan!”

“Went here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didn’t catch his name) couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didn’t catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didn’t have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next time”

“Sunday afternoon search for coffee and gluten free cake and WOW not disappointed. Great selection of cakes, with at least one gluten free option. I went for the gluten free lemon cake and it was super moist, delicious lemon curd and buttercream between the three layers. My Mum went for coffee cake and enjoyed it thoroughly. Decaf coffee was top notch. My Mum was exceedingly happy with the hot chocolate too. We will be coming back and totally recommend. Great service”

“Had dinner here 15 October with our family, 6 of us. We ate early so there was not many customers hence the 4 an not 5 stars for atmosphere. “One of the only places in Coventry that does a decent enough Cantonese roast. Roast duck is ok but the crispy belly pork is the best. Their beef stir-fried noodles are the bomb. They have a decent canteen-style space to sit in and eat but a lot do takeaway. Friendly staff and very efficient, quick service.”

“Nicely decorated restaurant with polite attentive staff. They have a wide range of dishes on offer covering the whole of India’s cuisine. We elected for northern Indian style dishes and we can safely safe they were very traditional in flavour, so we were incredibly satisfied. Each curry dish had a good amount of meat in it too which is worth mentioning (Lamb Balti and a Chicken Vindaloo). The Paneer for starters was a good way to get the juices flowing. All in all a brilliant experience; traditional, authentic flavours and good fair prices!”
