“St Andrews Nursery has been absolutely exceptional, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Our son has attended since he was just 8 months old and is now leaving at 3 years to start his next school journey. The staff are truly amazing — caring, kind, and dedicated beyond words. From the very beginning, we always felt completely confident that our son was not only safe, but genuinely loved and nurtured. They have supported him every step of the way, helping him grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity while encouraging his learning and development in such a natural and joyful way. The environment at St Andrews is warm, welcoming, and stimulating, and the relationships the staff build with both the children and parents are outstanding. Communication has always been excellent, and it has been so reassuring to see how well they understand and support each child as an individual. We are endlessly grateful for everything St Andrews Nursery has done for our son and for us as a family. The foundations they have helped build will stay with him for life. We will always look back on our time here with enormous appreciation and fond memories. Thank you, St Andrews — you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”
“I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Child First Banbury; from the beautiful setting to the passionate and caring members of staff, it really is an exemplary nursery. Both our children have attended Child First and have absolutely loved it. The child-led ethos creates such a wonderful environment for the children to grow - I have truly felt that our children's interests have been pursued and nurtured. The staff clearly love their jobs and are so welcoming to both children and their families - the team are managed by Amy who is so supportive and accommodating to individual needs. The food offered is all made fresh within house and the menu is always varied and appetising. It's a huge weight off of our minds knowing that our children have been so happy and well cared for whilst we've been at work. It really is a home from home. We'll miss them all dearly when they outgrow Child First!”
“Spent a fantastic five hours playing pinball on machines that were all in very good condition, and what an amazing amount of pinball machines under one roof! I would highly recommend checking out Fife Street Pinball and arcade Looking forward to my next visit”
“This was bought for us as a gift, Archery and Axe Throwing. Venue is easy to get to, clean and well set out. Various activities available, each housed in their own specific area, axe throwing, shooting, archery, climbing, shark diving, escape rooms. Each activity needs to be booked separately, age restrictions apply, (18 for shooting, 15 for Axe throwing, 8 for archery, ), so check before booking. Arrive half hour early to book in and fill in waivers and validate parking token for reduced parking charge ,( East 5). Cafe on site , drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. Small gift shop, also reasonably priced. Staff at the venue are helpful , friendly and knowledgeable . Axe throwing in particular was great fun. Full instructions and safety advice is given at activity start, (5 minutes). Axe throwing lasts 45 minutes. Archery was also very good, professionally run with a clear emphasis on safety. Session length was half an hour. Full use of assault course is included in the price, however we didn't use this due to ongoing knee problems, but guests using the course seemed to have a good time. Great day out , sessions could have been slightly longer but would definitely go here again. Prices of activities vary from £20 upwards, booking in advance gets cheaper price . Excellent.”
“This review was shared by my daughter from UK: The best of the best community center Great place for activities, excellent service by centre staff Really wonderful staff, I loved this centre and atmosphere”
“Had a great time kids loved it must say the staff were amazing I have a autistic boy and a diabetic daughter and they let us take time to sort out bloods for her and miss a game so he wasn't overwhelmed thank you so much”
“It's rare you find quirky places this is one of them! Definitely recommend to visit I personally loved it! I'm abit of a nerd to be honest and this place is heaven, everyone was pleasant had some great in-depths talks with the owners of some shops. Food is well priced and I feel like this place has really thought of things when it comes to the community aspect.”
“I had my son's birthday party here, the staff been very kind and polite, I strongly recommend, thank you all!”
“I only dropped people off to attend a wedding and thought it was the perfect place !!”
“Haven't been since I was a teen, love the new park open and spacious. Lack of benches though.”
“Visited today, and really positive about this little gem! The name says it all. Absolutely cute! Very clean and well run, staff are an absolute pleasure. A variety of snacks, food and drinks for sale. Not small enough for kids to get bored but also not big and overbearing, as some play areas may feel. I really did get a personal and intimate play time feeling, with this place. Owners clearly aren't greedy, as there was enough people in to make some friends but not too much to feel crowded. My son has said this is his favourite place and after showing it to grandma and grandad they said they can't wait to take him there. Every kids dream! Loads of dressing up, loads of props, allowing the little ones to literally role play who ever they want to be. My son made me a lovely cake in the bakery, but then put me in jail as apparently I had eaten too much of it. Haha it was lovely. My 8month old daughter also enjoyed being able to touch things and get on the farm animals. I would say age wise it's probably more for 1-8 years olds, but that's just personal opinion. My only negative would be, not pushchair accessible. Pushchairs are expected to be left on ground floor, followed by stairs to the 1st floor to the play area. That's my only negative. But that's only a small negative that really isn't that bad. Love the 1h30 slot as its not too long but it's enough time for kids to play and have some fun. Can not wait to come back again. Thank you for having us.”
“Love it for the over 60s bingo. Keeps you in touch with the world”
“Great park, enclosed enough for dogs off lead play that is far away from the playground. There is a small football pitch that is well maintained. The playground has a good variety of well maintained equipment. The park is lined with gardens that open straight onto the field which makes it feel like a lovely community area. The only addition that would be good is a gate at each entrance to make it full enclosed.”
“Lovely place, well maintained and highly litter free. Would reccomend.”
“The Edward Street Community centre serves it purpose as a multi function hall, its mainly used by the local community such as weddings and birthday parties. In the past it was used as emergency homeless shelter due to the extremely cold weather at the time.”
“the preschool within this community centre is by far one of the best iv ever experienced. the staff are unaquvaualy dedicated to their work and are so supportive and caring. the support my child and I received from the staff was humbling. I still take them toys from time to time 2 years after my child graduated from their care and when I say graduated, the staff did a whole ceremony for the children leaving it was so special. I would highly recommend them to any parent.”

“Love this shop for furniture pieces. Probably the best place for up cycling in the city.”
“This was my first time visiting and the site was very clean and tidy. Friendly staff and inviting. Great facilities and plenty of parking. The room was hired for a child's part and it was very good. With enough to keep the children entertained and active for the allotted time. Clean and well presented”
