“The food was amazing, we took a few appetizers, three main dishes, two vegetables sides, naan and rice and everything was very tasty. Service was impeccable, friendly and kind.”

“Food was good. Probably a really really tasty main course if I weren't vegan. The soup starter was to die for. The portion size was a bit small and a side of broccoli was expensive for the small amount in the side... I think it was £5.50. Drinks sensibly priced. Thai food always has vegan options and the staff were helpful but the menu could have had better descriptions and more mention of plant based options. The service was great and ambulance just right. Overall I spent £26; which was ok although I definitely couldn't have eaten more.”

The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more accommodating of any request, no matter how big or small. The food was incredible and plentiful as always and the service impeccable. “What a classic old school pub where very little has changed decor wise over the years making this a must visit venue. Choice of 3 (obscure to me) cask ales on today. Cold snacks and hot drinks available Check opening times - they tend to vary during the day to avoid disappointment.”

“Food well for 3 days been taking chicken kebabs and it's really good not so spicy but with the combination of sauces it's just really good. Service I can't say a bad word pretty quick, and no one had any problems with me taking a kebab in a wrap with chips instead of salad so really good service. Atmosphere well it's like a typical chip shop but as I said earlier service makes it really good.”

“Returned after 4 years truly missed this place just as lovely as it was before except they have re designed inside and it looks great! Has a nice clean modern look to it, staff very friendly didn't wait long, sandwiches lovely and freshly made and the scones melted in our mouth, the selection of cakes were fabulous too! In regards to the price we paid £18 each which I think it’s great when most places charge £25+ yet they’re no where near as good. Will be returning again and again , thank you☺️”

“We were staying in the area for the weekend and decided to go and get a takaway. After having a quick flick through the reviews we changed our minds and decided to eat here and I'm sure glad we did! This place is a hidden gem! It's only small inside but we were seated very quickly. (Takeaway is an option though). The food was absolutely amazing! “Ordered a delivery I had the Arabic chic wrap and sumac chips. The food was still hot when it arrived, really good portions and the taste of the chips was lovely. But oh my god the wrap was DELICIOUS! I will definitely order from here again - I wish I had tried it sooner!!”

“I visited the Half Moon for a wedding reception. The food was excellent and offered plenty of choices including vegetarian options. The staff were great and coped well with a very busy pub (as well as the usual Saturday night drinkers there were a lot of thirsty weddings guests).
