“The people running the place are warm, welcoming and friendly.”
“Lovely stadium, fire was set before kick off. Pies were great, the fans were really loud. At half time I went for a walk around the stadium and the stewards are great people. In the hospitality bit was great . I’ve also been there for a Tom Grennan concert and it’s a great stadium for both concerts and football, on top of that the sky blues won 3-0! Also right off the M6 so great.”
“We had practice for our meetings for romanian traditonal dances there and the place is great for gatherings. The staff is professional and its a good spot in Coventry to have rehearsals!”
“It was a beautiful experience it was my first time there and it was clean spacious and it had a beautiful calm feel to it and it was well organised with signs on doors saying what they are. It was a great experience this might have to be my new mane Masjid and it has great parking space.❤”
“David - what a hero! I spent years searching for the right treatment and getting nowhere. It wasn’t until I turned to private treatment & found David, that my journey to recovery has finally begun. When I first sought help for my health issues, I trusted the NHS to guide me through what I assumed would be a straightforward process of diagnosis & recovery. But what began as a search for answers soon spiraled into a series of missteps and misunderstandings that left me physically & mentally broken. Passed around different departments , I received conflicting advice and was misdiagnosed multiple times - leaving me trapped in a perpetual cycle of confusion, fear and anxiety. Unable to find the support I needed, my health continued to deteriorate and I was signed off work for six months, at a life threatening low weight and battling severe anxiety and stress. I was referred to an eating disorder unit, where I was boxed into the label of ‘anorexia’ - a condition far removed from my actual issues. Treatment was one-size-fits-all treatment and completely wrong for my situation, making matters even worse. This fundamental misunderstanding left me feeling isolated, invalidated, and like I was failing every week when no progress was made. The treatment plan lacked nuance and didn’t provide therapy or practical tools for improvement. Instead, I faced judgment, threats of hospitalisation, and no actionable support. Admitting my case was too ‘risky’ for them to handle, they resorted to hospitalisation—a step I knew would only worsen my food-related fears and mental health issues. Recognising this would be wrong for me, they initiated a mental health assessment to detain me against my will. This was one of the most terrifying moments of my life. With an existing phobia of hospitals, following a traumatic experience involving complications & a blood transfusion growing up, the prospect of being forced into this environment petrified me. I felt powerless, and my family was left scrambling for alternatives. That’s when we found David - who within days had taken me under his wing. Having been let down so many times before, we were hesitant to seek private care and skeptical about therapy after so many failed attempts. But from the moment David responded to our inquiry, everything felt different. He was professional yet compassionate, and his genuine concern for my wellbeing shone through from our very first conversation. For the first time in years, I felt seen, understood, and supported. He is so positive and encouraging, and his approach is filled with techniques and tools that are completely personalized. He’s helping me regain control, relax, and make meaningful changes at a pace that works for me. David listens intently, adapts to my individual needs, and creates an environment where I feel safe to explore and grow. (And not to mention he’s bloody hilarious!) after just a few sessions, my mindset had shifted and I’m already able to eat more freely than I have in years. It’s a long journey, but for the first time in five years of suffering, I’m finally on the road to recovery and can see myself coming back every day. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for David’s constant care and encouragement. He’s not just a therapist— he’s a partner & a real friend. I would recommend him to anyone feeling misunderstood or looking to gain back control of their life and take steps toward a healthier, happier future. “I ordered some flowers for my Aunt's 93rd birthday. She was over the moon and said they were beautiful. Thank you very much for making her day.”
“My favourite pub in Kenilworth, great service and fantastic beer! Best Guiness for miles! The San Miguel is the cleanest tasting pint I ever had. Pete and Catherine do a fantastic job of running this family local.”
“We have been watching the Christmas pantomime at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry for the last six years, and as always, this year was absolutely fantastic. The cast is amazing and we had a great night, just as we do every year. Iain Lauchlan as Nanny Fanny McWheeze and Craig Hollingsworth as Muddles the Jester, are particularly brilliant. We love watching them, especially when things don’t quite go to plan, which always adds to the fun and laughter! We visited on Thursday 18th December and had another wonderful experience. The Belgrade Theatre continues to deliver a truly magical and memorable pantomime year after year. Highly recommended!”

“good sized room for family get togethers...large kitchen for food preparation and a stage for the kids to do a show...loads of chairs and tables.”
“Great location on edge of Warwick campus, next to old church and backing onto farmland. Easy parking, and keys left at private entrance with note for each guest/booking. Small but nicely furnished room with decent en-suite shower. Bagged continental breakfast, generous and tasty and left outside door at exactly time I asked for. Good selection of coffee and tea. Not the best soundproofing between rooms but adequate for my needs. Would book here again.”
“Excellent Community Centre offering a wide variety of activities for both young and old. Check on the entrance board for the available activities and contacts. Parking is plenty but can become an issue during peak times.”
“Amazing Community Centre and it is run extremely well! I have run classes from the Oak Room at the Centre on Tuesday's for the past 2 years and I absolutely love the room and the facilities. Jo and her team cannot do enough for you as hirers and make you feel very welcome. I also held my daughter's birthday party in the Sports Hall which was great. There is so much space in the centre + great courses and activities. I can't recommend it enough!”
“Amazing place with amazing people. Always welcoming on karaoke Fridays. Gets even better with Charlotte DJing and Patrick singing.”
“The Edward Street Community centre serves it purpose as a multi function hall, its mainly used by the local community such as weddings and birthday parties. In the past it was used as emergency homeless shelter due to the extremely cold weather at the time.”
“I went to Trentfest not long ago, it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was really warm and friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful. The whole place is lovely and clean. I 100% recommend the Trent Valley for all kinds of entertainment, they have loads of different bands/singers etc on.”
“Decided to Google the club and was delighted to see the photos of where my Grandfather Michael (Bronco) Mitchell spent a lot of his time, he loved it there, it was his second home.”
“Great place for my 4 year old, bouncy castles, role play, soft play and really decent food portions. Went twice in the half term holiday. Only issue is with the parking but there is a free car park down the road.”
“We had a ladies mini golf break to Ardencote. Afternoon golf, dinner, shared room, breakfast buffet, more golf. Great location for a mixed age and ability group. Course is very flat and not particularly interesting but suited the needs of our group and our texas scramble comp. One lady hired a buggy. The spa facilities were lovely. We all agreed that the hotel and the dinner were great. I thought the staff were particularly helpful.”
“Was welcomed into the Saxon Mill Warwick front of house to have dinner so really glad we found it. The atmosphere was cosy and well designed decor. We received a good service from the team. The food was cooked to a high standard and the lamb was well done as requested. The restaurant was clean and being this was our first time in Coventry for a Special event was grateful that the Saxon Mill team welcomed us in to dine without a booking with the same food choices as the restaurant area. I recommend the Saxon Mill as a lovely place to done with family and friends lots of available free parking. Thank you Saxon Mill team”
“Despite growing up in the area this was my first "proper" time at The George and, have to say, first impressions were very good. Light, bright decor inside with plenty of seating options, including a dedicated dining area for meals and a spacious beer garden. Good atmosphere inside, with relaxing selection of background music that wasn't so loud as to be intrusive. Service was brilliant throughout, from the bright, friendly greeting on our arrival to the attentive staff looking after us during meal. Food allergy advised at time of booking was reiterated by the staff when taking our orders, which was reassuring. And, on the subject of the meal, the food was excellent - good portion sizes, very tasty and reasonably priced too. Everyone in our group was very happy with what they had. Would definitely recommend and, although we don't really get out much, we'll definitely be back.”

“Lovely walk today in the snow, even more beautiful when the sun broke through. I did not make the snowman so cannot take credit for it but many thanks to the young family we saw building it. It made us smile!”
