I would advise to book a table in advance during weekends and use the app to have discounts or free slides. They accept cash, card or pay by the app.”

“Been on the hunt for decent chips for ages. Most seem rubbery and a bit weird tasting if they have been sitting for a bit. We heard good things being said about this place and gave it a try. Chips cooked to order, piping hot and tasty. Fish looked good so will be having some next time. Really happy we found you and worth the drive from Dunchurch. Thank-you for making the effort to serve great food.”

“I was served by two young lads who were both very pleasant and welcoming. They greeted me warmly as I arrived and later checked in to ask how my meal was, which I really appreciated. The establishment itself was very clean and well looked after, and the food was absolutely delicious. A lovely experience overall!”

“What an amazing find. I organised for my group to centre here from all over England. Parking was good, it was not centre of town too, but on a busy high st. The food was amazing! I had the vegan corn ribs, which was the best food experience I have had as a vegan. I do miss holding a bone and eating from it. My main was a the stuffed pepper, also good. Well presented, tasty and a decent size. Others in the party had burgers, platters and wings which reports where good. The drinks selection was decent too. Staff where friendly and attentive, which was totally lovely to add to the experience. Overall, I rarely give 5 stars, but this deserves it 100%. Great job team street.”

“I've been here a few times and had a consistently good experience. The good is great, the service is good and it's reasonably priced as well. If you want alcohol, you have to bring your own, but they have plenty of soft drinks available. Highly recommend”

“Me and my friend use this as our starting point for an evening walk around Draycote. Twice before we've had the genetic fish & chips/batter sausage & chips. Both times have been delicious and the staff very friendly. Last night, decided to go for a change and ordered Kofta from the wall menu. I was given a choice of sauces and asked whether I wanted salad. I went with mint yoghurt and decided against the salad. Kofta was truly delicious. Freshly made to order (which we hadn't grasped at the time, so we were wondering why on earth it was taking so long) Will definitely order it again, but, maybe see if we can call ahead to order next time to alleviate the waiting time. The photo isn't the best as it was dark outside but hopefully you can gauge the portion size. HUGE! Just a word of advice, it would be useful to advise customers at the point of ordering that there is a wait on it as it's cooked to order.”

“On Saturday the 19th 15 of us ordered from a campsite (local'ish) in the middle of nowhere pretty much and our order came hot, within a reasonable time and everything was correct with the order, also the delivery driver was very friendly and served us with a smile...and too top all that off, the food was delicious and the prices are incredibly good! “Amazing fish and chips and one of the best battered sausages I’ve ever had. Start off with the fish, fresh Grimsby fish so soft and tender melts in your mouth with a light thin crispy batter which doesn’t stick to the paper either! Next the chips are probably the best chippy chips I’ve had on a consistent level, they burn my fingers upon first touch and the steam that’s built up inside just makes the chips almost break into mash, lovely and soft every single time! Now the battered sausages, 90% of the time have been wonderfully crisp on the outside and steaming hot on inside, very good quality proper pork chippy sausage. Lastly forgot to mention it’s probably around 20% cheaper then most high street chippies, £2 battered sausages, £5 massive huge enough to feed 7 easy large chips(around 8 scoops) and £7 for the extra large haddock or cod. Forgot to mention the very authentic chippy curry sauce made to absolute perfection 100% of the time!£1.40 for a large! This place is a little gem I’d travel 20+ miles for this everytime it’s bang on! Thanks guys - Nick”
