“One of these hardware and fancy goods (what's the modern equivalent of that phrase?) stores. They have everything. It's sort of creeping off the shelves into the isles. And yet the staff know where everything is. If you find yourself short of a circular saw blade, a watch strap, a fitting for your garden hose, a plant pot, a light bulb for that torch your granddad had since the war, a spaghetti strainer, and a fishing net for the kids, this place has you covered.
