“Lovely place bit since we have been the soft play area has gone. Did not have long to wait for our food. Hard to choose as it all looked so nice. the staff were very friendly. And the small shop has a good variety of things. Also the place is wheelchair friendly and good parking.”
“Fantastic breakfast! Well presented, I didn't have mushrooms, got extra black pudding. Delicious!”
“Superb breakfast destination when in Beverley. The breakfasts are wholesome and extremely tasty. With the largest sausage I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Choice of large, medium and small. My wife had the small and I went for the medium (couldn't manage a large one). Our Cockerpoo had a sausage bowl free of charge. With a good strong cuppa, it was sensational. We shall call here again, the food here is worth every penny. Well done Polly's, don't change a thing.”
“Great food, very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere and happily accommodated a rather large group. Thank you very much.”
“Perfect place for my daughter’s babyshower. There were 20 of us, the majority had afternoon tea & it was so delicious. Lots of lovely sandwiches savouries scones & cakes. We even got to take some home! The staff are brilliant, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Thankyou for making our afternoon so special.”
“Holidaying in the beautiful Ridings of East Yorkshire, we couldn't wait to try one of the cafes - this one, in the beautiful village of South Cave. Although we only had afternoon drinks and cakes, we will certainly be back for breakfast. Prompt service, proper portions and reasonable prices. As Southern Softies, we're simply not used to this kind of quality! And the best thing? The fact that the locals (who clearly know they're on a good thing) will actually strike-up a conversation, rather than stare at the floor, which is what they would do in the cafes around us. Absolute gem which we were delighted to find. (And our dog was even catered for with a free treat... she can't wait to go back either!)”
“Can't recommend this cafe enough. Emma and her team are amazing. Lots of activities for all children ages throughout the week. My toddler loves it. The cafe also has a great selection of food and drinks. Love the coffee. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Sunday morning not wanting to cook breakfast and wash up googled cafes, very few open at 0830 in morning most opened at 10.00 didn’t fancy Mc Donald’s ,found this little gem on foster st off Stoneferry rd owner very welcoming and cafe spotless and warm ,ordered breakfast and coffee both arrived promptly and well presented staff cherfull and polite, Breakfast good size and quality of produce very tasty left feeling full and content with my experience in the words of Arnold “I will be back””
“Had a great breakfast in here everything was cooked perfect would definitely go again”
“Honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever got from a cafe, it’s massive and tastes amazing. Also got a lasagne and chips for lunch which tastes incredible. May be a bit more pricey than your usual cafe but it’s well worth the money. Only cafe I’ll use now!”
“The Green Owl is a great cafe bar. There is a very large selection of draught beers lager and cider including three cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales which were in excellent condition on our visit. There is also a large cocktail menu. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is a nice covered outside seating area. We went to see the live music, the band, The Ekoes were excellent. It's a lively bar definitely worth visiting.”
“This was first for me here, we were just looking for somewhere to have a nice picnic, and it didn't disappoint. Looks like a great day out with water activities, a great place for families x”
“A truly lovely little spot. Stopped her unplanned for lunch and it was a lovely time. Food was reasonably priced for the portion size and staff were cheery and friendly. The problem was it took a little longer than would have liked to be served. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great little cafe! Lovely sandwiches, sausage and eggs yummy, great coffee! Staff very welcoming and friendly. 5* hygiene rating and VERY good value! Couldn't ask for more! It's a little gem of a cafe. Will definitely go again if in that area.”
“It is a great place to meet up before a lecture or a study session. You can get pizza, hot sandwiches, salads, and brownies alongside other sweet treats and prepackaged sandwiches. Of course, there are various options of coffee from the Costa side and cheaper self-serve options, with various hot drinks to choose from.”
“Friendly relaxed town center eatery with varied breakfast and brunch menu. Perfect way to start the day.”
“Me & The wife called into Beverley on our way home, wife always likes a coffee so whilst she was window shopping I spotted Blu Luna, nice little place amongst the usual Cafe Nero etc. I'm so glad we called in for a late breakfast. It was a warm welcome and made to feel at ease and choose our table, I understand some other comments about tight tables, which might be a squeeze if full. Never the less we ordered 2 x cappuccinos, Nduja & Tuscan sausage. Service was very friendly and didn't wait too long for our food, which they were both gorgeous, great coffee's. When entering, you see their sweet treats & paninis in full view (next time) lovely decor with seating up and downstairs, also outdoor seating front & rear. In all, we had a great experience and look forward to returning sooner rather than later. Thanks, Neil & Jane”
“Great little cafe located on newbridge road, stafc are very friendly and the cafe has am upto date modern look throughout. Prices are very fair and the menu is what you can expect of a cafe. Food is nice too even I ordered bit h a bacon butty and a large breakfast and both was made quite quickly and tasted great. Would recommend a visit. Also do telephone orders for businesses. Will try again within the month to update the review.”
“Cute individual cafe. Excellent service from a very polite lady and man. I had the lasagna which was very tasty and plentiful. I've visited twice and will definitely visit again. The prices were very reasonable.”

“I hated it to hear they shut down - and was more than pleased to hear it's reopened. And again: massive breakfasts, moderately priced, friendly staff! My number one food supplier whenever I'm in Hull! 24.5.24: again: came from the ferry, was hungry, got that massive "mighty"- everything-triple-breakfast and was happy!”
“Since I started school here, Red Chilli has been my go-to spot for authentic Nigerian food. I’ve tried other African restaurants in Hull, but nothing compares to the flavors and quality I get at Red Chilli. The food here brings me a real taste of home, and it’s consistently delicious. Every dish feels freshly made with just the right spices, and I can tell they care about maintaining that true Nigerian flavor. Their jollof rice, suya, and egusi are some of my absolute favorites. Not only is the food spot on, but the portions are generous, so you always get a satisfying meal for a good price. Red Chilli is more than just a restaurant for me; it’s a piece of home away from home. If you’re looking for an authentic Nigerian dining experience in Hull, this is it – nothing else comes close!”
