“Went here recently with my partner. Lovely coffee and always great service.”
“A place I frequent to meet friends, for a catch up. The atmosphere is relaxing, once you get sat, you don't want to leave. Can easily spend hours in there, the drinks are lovely.”
“Great home made food, cakes are delish....good coffee too. Nice clean cafe”
“The Costa team who served us today were truly a credit to the company.”
“The staff are the best in Beverley, nothing is too much trouble, once they get to know the regulars they even don’t usually ask as they already know which is great persona service, clean and tidy always”
“As always, good varied assortment of hand crafted drinks available, pleasant surroundings with good service. Always a treat to sit and enjoy good coffee whilst meeting friends. New drinks added on a regular basis giving that extra choice. What let's down these outlets is the breakdown of the dishwashers, it's not the same drinking out of takeaway cups, spoils the enjoyment altogether, perhaps they should install two dishwashers or have a better repair service.”
“Finally got round to trying the Jerk Chicken, rice and beans. WOW! Never had anything from here that isn't great but that was special. Plus the staff are great.”
“A very pleasant stay. It was quite warm on our arrival but the window was open and a standing fan was already in our room. Check in staff were friendly and efficient. We complemented the cleaning staff on their great work on the way out. Would recommend a room that doesn't face the road as can be quite noisy. Our room was overlooking the carpark and we found it to be very quiet. All in all a good stay.”
“We eat regularly at The Coffee House have done for many years, sad to see its up for sale. We visited today 27.1.23 its was extremely busy with limited staff, but as always great food & service & Terri our server was just amazing considering the cafe was full & she was taking orders & serving during a very busy time. I hope if it does sell it remains a cafe & the staff jobs are safe.”
“Very quick service and lovely atmosphere. Not too full during the week so seating is not an issue. The brie and bacon panini is wonderful and filling.”
“Slow service today 3 members of staff on. The kid with the blue hairs serves 10 people at a time, give the kid with blue hair a pay rise”
“Very friendly staff. The young lady had a great sense of humour and the very good looking guy was very helpful”
“Tried The Caramel Nut Cracker Latte, The Red Velvet slice I would definitely recommend them”
“Our favourite Costa venue. I’m hoping the staff working from 1-2:30 yesterday 17th December can help… My 92 year father, who has memory issues but wants to be independent!, left his iPhone at a table/chair in the back section. He only just realised this morning as he rarely uses it. There is no easy way to contact the store by phone or email. May this will help.”
“Looking for a cafe that had gluten free options we found this one and it was a lucky find. I had a gluten free panini and my husband had the soup. I also had gluten free cake - there was a choice of gf cakes too - and a latte. The shop at the back was an unexpected bonus with beautiful ready made pinafores for children and lots of yarns and material”
“A brilliant cafe serving some fabulous food. For a cafe, it's arguably the best in town. Inside the art gallery, which is well worth a mooch around. The food is plentiful and hot and tasty. There's always some offer on and most food is home made. Went in with family, and I had scampi with chips n side salad. The wife had a tuna jacket, salad, and homemade slaw. Her daughter had chicken goujon sandwich chips n slaw. The mother-in-law had tuna sandwiches, salad, slaw, and a portion of chips. I had a beer, and rest had soft drinks even though wine is available. The lot came to 30 notes, which is great for 4 of us. Staff are a little short but were very attentive and extremely helpful. Plenty of seating and even outside, weather permitting. A great place for lunch. We'll worth a visit.”
“The girl serving very polite and helpful nice Alcon and a nice thank you”
“Fast service and staff were very friendly”
“Great coffee place, and good hot chocolate. Good selection of sandwiches, toasters and snacks too. Staff helpful and polite.”
“Milk shake was amazing. Was real relaxing experience, staff was very helpful with me making a choice.”
“Excellent food very friendly staff received warm welcome in a comfortable feeling”
“I was in the library near Venue Hull Central Library Cafe, and I remember thinking to myself "this looks like a good book, but I would like somewhere to sit and read it whilst eating good cake and drinking even better coffee" and then just as I was about to leave the library I saw Venue Hull Central Library Cafe and I went in and they had cakes and coffee so I bought some of both and I read my book whilst eating good cake and drinking better coffee. It was all absolutely lovely and even though the book was rubbish, I won't knock a star off for that because that wasn't the cafe's fault, that's probably just down to my inability to pick good books.”
“Had an hospital app today at Hull Royal not visited Costa because we had such awful service from the Store manager in Cleethorpes St Peter’s Av but today in Hull your service was outstanding and very welcoming thank you very much X”
“Loved our visit here. It has a really welcoming atmosphere, the ladies who looked after us couldn't have been nicer, the price of the pottery and all the painting supplies is very good, £2.50 for the paint and kiln, just the pottery item to add on top. It's also a lovely cafe with sofas to enjoy coffee and cake for non pottery painters. (The cakes were superb). Will definitely be back again.”
“Went for my Mother in laws birthday. Came all the way from Manchester to be with her. What a lovely place. The food was amazing. I had tomato and basil soup which is the nicest I’ve ever tasted. It came with an home made bread roll which was so soft and tasty. I had a cheese scone along with this that was also so light. The selection of cakes is amazing too, They brought cake out for Rita and sang happy birthday. Such lovely people. Would definitely recommend”
“Came here for the first time with one of my friends It was glorious, fast friendly service, wide range of breakfast and lunch items, also has loads of different flavours of matcha to choose from I would recommend the mango coconut matcha and the hot honey halloumi”
