“Was there for a weekend of martial arts. I was teaching Tai Chi and other instructors were teaching other arts. Great fun and lovely people. The place itself is fine. Accommodation clean and suitable for purpose. Better signposting would be nice to aid finding your assigned lodging.”

“Better to take your kids here for the play equipment than it is to rhe Teenager infested People's Park. Also great for dogs.”

“Absolutely stunning site! Words really do not do the beauty of this place justice. We have had 6/7 visits now, our first been at Christmas the first year it opened. Andrew the owner is lovely, and on hand if you need any help or advice for your stay. He told us of his plans to add a lake more pitches etc but we didn’t expect it all in such a short space of time, he never stops grafting to improve it. We are so glad we found this place and so far haven’t gone anywhere else since as nothing compares. It is very well maintained, with accessible disabled wet rooms with seating. It has a community room you can book for a small fee, the local pub is 5 minutes walk and serves delicious food and drinks. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Plenty of walks that are accessible for my mobility scooter. The lake in daytime is stunning but the sunset over it on a night is something else. I can go all the way round with no trouble at all. The fees are very reasonable compared to some sites and the hard standing pitches are huge!! It has a large enclosed dog walk/exercise area too. I could keep going but will leave it there with a high recommendation that you book a trip!!”

“An amazing experience in beautiful countryside surroundings. The Llamas and Alpacas all had their own cheeky personalities; it was great fun and Katie and Belinda gave us lots of interesting information along the way. Would highly recommend this.”

“Amazing vets, honestly nothing but good things to say. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a vets. We sadly had to have our dog olly put to sleep and the care and compassion we received was so appreciated. I also received a lovely card in the post sending there well wishes which was a nice touch. They made such a sad time that bit more bareable. Thankyou.”

“Brought my family here as the grandchildren wanted to play and its quite central. Love the new, green rubber ground around this area. New apparatus have been installed and there were plenty to choose from. (Zip lines seem to be so popular with children these days so I am surprised that a couple haven't been put in here as there's plenty of room. Although I suspect there's not plenty of money to install one or two.) Shame. Still, the children loved it.”

“Went for a viewing and was helped by Sam. What a lovely, polite and helpful gentleman. He gave suggestions on sofas, but gave us space to view without any pressure. He was very informative and went through the purchasing process with us. I can definitely say I was pleasantly surprised, definitely recommend SCS, Grimsby and Sam. Great Store.”
