Alignment needed sorting but wasn't put under any pressure to have it done with them but decided to have done while I was there. Got a discount on the price as it took a little longer than expected due to people turning up without appointments. The staff were great, very transparent and helpful. Good experience better than I had expected as heard a few bad reports about kwik fit. No issues, would recommend.”

“Jeanette and family were wonderful when it came to fixing my car at very short notice, and they stayed later than usual to ensure I had my car back same day on a Saturday. They carried out thorough testing and repaired what was necessary to get the car back out of limp mode and also managed to add a cleaning additive to my full tank of (very poor quality) fuel to save me having to drain it off and refill. They were friendly, welcoming, professional and very knowledgeable and gave me advice to go away with as well as offering a free follow up check to ensure everything is running smoothly. I've since recommended them to other drivers who have had similar issues to mine after filling up at the same fuel station and will continue to highly recommend them and use them in the future”

“Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Fairways Service Station in Ackworth for being so brilliant. 3 months ago my car had been into JCT 600 Castleford for its service inspection (sadly due to the kia warranty I have to do this). JCT told me that my brakes were red on their checklist and needed to be done ASAP or fail the next MOT. They quoted me a silly price so I decided to visit the guys at fairways to get a more realistic quote (which was very fair). Bare in mind the car is less than 3 years old and my 8 year old car is still on its first set of brakes. The Guys at Fairways checked the brakes and found that the rear wear was minimal and the front wear was more than OK for MOT and should last based on a normal persons driving a year to 18 months. I recently lost my job and a big bill before Christmas would have been a tough pill to swallow. THANK YOU FAIRWAYS It is great to know that good honest businesses still exist and I would recommend them to anyone currently being bent over by certain (and i know they are not all the same) corrupt dealerships. Thank you for being honest and fair, you chose not to do unnecessary work and be Awesome. Thank you.”

“6 stars are deserved, but the maximum I can give is 5. The garage is so good that I decided to write my first review. I came there today for an urgent repair. I was hoping that I would be able to get it within 2 or 3 days at most. It turned out that I had to pick up the car on the same day after the repair. A huge plus for customer service. The guys know what they're doing. Fast and professional service with very acceptable prices. I have a new car mechanic from today. I will recommend it to all my friends.”

“Been dealing with Sam for about 2 years now. When any of our fleet vehicles are out of warranty / dealer service plan etc, we take them to Sam, and he does a superb job at half the price. He does. all our MoT's as well. Recently - we'd what Audi Huddersfield described as a terminal failure of one of the turbochargers on our Audi RS4. In short a small steel actuator bracket had broken. They claimed we needed a £3500+vat + labour to fit new turbocharger. I looked at the offending item and concluded any PROPER MOTOR ENGINEER worth their salt would simply weld it - which Sam duly did and it cost us £95! Top marks to Sam - thank you.”
