Inside, it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and an authentic character which so many pubs have lost. The tick list includes: Good choice of real ales; dog friendly; real fire; friendly and enthusiastic staff; excellent quality food; broad choice menu; great value; homely decorations for the Christmas season. We were lucky to be there for the Early Bird Christmas Menu... 3 home cooked courses with all the trimmings. All courses well cooked, very tasty and great quality. We will be back... we didn't need to book this time as it was a wet and windy Wednesday lunchtime, but I think we'll book our next visit to avoid disappointment.”

“Well what a hidden gem this is. I visited with 3 friends, one of which has an onion allergy. I gave a couple of weeks notice of this and I was advised that they need at least a weeks notice to cater for an allergy/ sensitivity. However what a good experience we all had. Even the onion allergy person as they were advised of two items on the menu that they couldn't have but everything else was doable. Excellent! The food was homecooked and wholesome and portions are very generous. The service was impeccable with the waitress being friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great and homely restaurant that I'm sure all four of us will be visiting again (now they know where it is)”

We were sat at the bar facing the chef so could watch the sushi being prepared, which was very cool to watch! It was also really affordable - myself and two friends paid £13 each for three dishes, and were kindly given many cups of free green tea. Unsure why Google suggests a meal would cost £100+ because it is much, much cheaper!!”

“It was my First time here after i hear ld a lot about this place, i decided to finally pay them a visit not as a business owner but as a customer We ordered two turkeys breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, it gives you a real Turkish experience, i had it before in Turkey and it looks exactly same. We offer a Kurdish mix breakfast which is a bit different so i liked it and the good thing that the staff informed us that we can refill the tea as much as we want and also they offered us a free bread with it after we finished our bread, The honey butter,flower jam was the best i have ever had. “We attended yesterday after the owner kindly reserved a table of 6 at short notice on a busy Sunday afternoon. Boothwood Inn is a very warm/welcoming place and very nice decor inside. The staff were very friendly and always happy to assist with anything, the owner takes time to speak with most people and is a very nice genuine guy. I ordered the roast beef dinner and I would honestly say this was one of the best dinners I have had (I told the owner I like fatty/well done beef) and when my dinner was brought out he also brought out a side plate of well done beef for me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. 10/10 for everything.”
