“Excellent place to have a kids Party, plenty of room for the little ones to play and a bouncy castle for extra if required. Provide your own catering so can be as cheap/expensive as you want to make it. Couldn't be more accommodating. If weather is good Sutcliffe play is over the road too with a great outdoor play park.”

“A brilliant spot in Elland for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake. We popped in on the off chance without booking a table, as we needed a lunch break after moving into the area. They managed to accomodate the six of us with no issues and the server was great. The flat white was a beautiful roast, really smooth and well made, and the hot chocolates were rich and delicious. We had the pancake stack, eggs, and festive sanwiches all cooked perfectly and full of flavour!! It was great quality of food and drinks in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly service too — we’ll definitely be back soon. I already have my eye on several items on the menu. - I keep popping by for a takeaway flat white when i am passing, the coffee roast is unreal, best ive had.”

“Great food, fantastic service and really good value for money. Found this place in Holmfirth a short distance from our Air B and B and we would definitely recommend and will go back. Fresh homemade pizzas and pasta. Large portions too. Lovely staff that are really attentive. Had a great night with family but would be equally nice for a romantic night out or group dinner”

“Had the roast beef, it came medium well along with a selection of tasty vegetables and of course roast potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding. One of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had and we’ve had a lot!! Fabulous host, very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend”

The shop is clean, welcoming and nicely decorated! Edited (23/07/2024) Still love coming back here! Have now tried the sage sausage roll too, so so good. Every time I’ve come in the staff have been so so lovely and welcoming, super friendly. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting and the coffee is always great. Can’t wait to keep coming back! “We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely impeccable, nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding coordinator, Lauren, deserves a special mention, she was so attentive, organised, and genuinely made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. The toastmaster was fantastic and kept everything running smoothly while making us feel like truly special people. The food was outstanding. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! We are beyond grateful for such an incredible experience and will always cherish the memories made here. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a magical wedding day!”

“An unexpected stop for breakfast this morning turned out to be a lovely little find! The décor inside is really nice, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome. We sat upstairs and ordered a full English breakfast and a full vegetarian breakfast — both were freshly cooked and delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. I’d definitely recommend this charming spot!”

“What a fantastic restaurant! We were a table of 17 and despite the numbers all the food was brought out efficiently and correctly. The food was delicious, and the staff ere lovely. The menu is very clear to understand for people with dietary requirements and allergies too. Will 100% be coming back!”

“A real pleasure to be back at 3 Acres after covid and the fire! The rooms have greatly improved, they now are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom too was beautiful ...but terribly cold. Lunch and dinner were excellent, service as well.”

“I've not been here for many years, it's a bit out of the way but I was nearby so stopped for lunch. It's a traditional pub with three real ales but the food is restaurant quality and a cut above the average pub food, well presented and clearly home made. We had three courses and everything was excellent, swift service and reasonable prices given the quality. We are on a weekday and the place was quiet but we would definitely return.”
