“Received excellent service from Aaron here, keep it up guys.”
“I had an excellent experience working with Laura Lavelle-Marshall, a Licensed Conveyancer from Levi Solicitors. Her expertise and dedication were instrumental in making my home-buying process smooth and efficient. I want to extend my gratitude not only to Laura but also to her exceptional team for their collaborative efforts. The service was outstanding, and I highly recommend Laura and the entire team at Levi Solicitors. Five stars well-deserved!”

“We had a wonderful day out on the Steam train, Whitby & the moors tour. Chris was a fantastic tour guide, full of interesting facts and information. The small group made it feel more personal as if you have a private tour guide. The trip across the moors was spectacular! The views breathtaking and Chris would stop off at points where we could get out and take pictures or just take in the amazing scenery. The whole day was brilliant, topped off with the Steam Train journey! I would highly recommend this trip with Chris. Thank you for a fantastic day.”
“A treasure of a local shop, you'll always get friendly and helpful service and all sorts of goods that you probably didn't go in for. They have a fantastic range of items. The staff also go above and beyond to help in any way they can, for example they fixed my son's bike saddle without batting an eyelid and without being asked, which saved us from a really disappointed little boy and turned our day around. They are great with advice and will happily order in items that are missing. Pexton's is how all businesses should be run.”
“We highly recommend BOB tours! We spent an amazing day out with Mark on the Yorkshire Dales National Park tour. We loved being in a smaller group, and unlike those big bus tours, we were able to understand perfectly everything Mark said through his microphone. The tour guides at this small company build the tours around key stops with added elements based on their own experience and knowledge of the area. This meant that our guide was able to rearrange stops according to the weather that day and add in a few stops based on what he learned about the interests of our particular group. Aside from the incredible beauty of the area, we also enjoyed learning from Mark’s deep well of knowledge to improve our understanding of the history, culture and economy of the area. Our one regret was that we didn’t think to have cash on hand to tip our tour guide. Tips are not expected but if you take one of these tours you will see how hard the guides work and appreciate the thoughtful personal touches they bring to your experience. We think you will want to thank your guide with a tip!”
“Great people, great prices. Gaz & Debs. You want it they have it. Great attitude, fantastic people.”
“Amazing food! Great choice and helpful staff if you unsure what to order. Decent price and nice portion sizes. Average wait time. Highly recommend a visit if in area.”
“This is a tiny three table restaurant. People had come all over to eat. We went becuase of the fabulous reviews. The Yemeni food is authentic, beautifully cooked and tasty. Not a huge menu but it absolutely packs a punch. We had the 2 person sharing platter which featured lamb and chicken on a bed of rice. The meat fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. We got the dessert to go! Strongly recommend this restaurant if you appreciate authentic well cooked food. And the price… complete value for money if not too cheap!”
“Great site, likely the best ablutions I've ever seen at a camp site ever! Staff were fab, friendly and very helpful. Great location to look around the area and the local pubs where fab also for food.”
“Visited the hotel today for afternoon tea and it was simply lovely. The young man who met us at the front door was friendly and helpfully took us through to the dining area. The waitress who served us was amazing -friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. And the food was just gorgeous! 2 hours spent relaxing in a beautiful setting, drinking prosecco and eating beautiful food- a really great way to spend a Friday afternoon. Thank you.”
“Fabulous guest house! Clean and tidy. Lovely room. Breakfast was superb! Plus Stuart and Sarah couldn't be lovelier hosts. Highly recommended!”
“All good. All staff very friendly & always happy to help. Will cut to size all requests. Well stocked little hardware shop. Happy to return another time.”
“Found these guys to be experts. Lots of good advice when deciding what to order. Bought a green roof kit from them in May 23. Have waited for a year to write a review. The roof (sedum plus mat) is flourishing. It looks fantastic. The colours change with the season.”
“The trip that NATS organised for me was a very good seamless and a very enjoyable experience with only one hick-up that was nothing to do with NATS at all..”
“Had a lovely meal here with my wife and mother in law after a visit to Halifax Christmas market. Great food, great service and atmosphere, friendly staff. Can heartily recommend.”
“Second visit to L'Aquila and another great experience. Between the 4 of us, we had 3 different pasta dishes and a pizza - all really good quality and just right portion sizes. Beer and wine goid choice and decent prices. Both visits have felt like the front of house staff could do with one more at busy times as it was a little slow to take drinks then food orders, and a big gap between serving starters and mains (we like a decent gap, but this was a tad lengthy). Definitely didn't spoil the experience, so don't let it put you off - just be aware and look forward to a bit of a more relaxed pace than you might be used to. We will be back soon.”
“Fantastic hosts. Lovely campsite for our motorhome. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners. Beautiful scenery too”
“I haven't stayed at the B and B I visited the church and grounds while visiting for a service.”
“My local Toolstation is great. I order online so I know they have what I want in stock, and they are so quick at getting stuff ready to collect which is ideal for early starters like myself. The products are fit for purpose most of the time and fairly priced.. returns are easy and processed quickly unlike the nearby competitors who can take a week or two. The staff are happy to help and it’s nice to be greeted by your name ( thanks Sheena) and to be made welcome.”
“A fantastic afternoon spent walking around the grounds, the woods and the gardens before strolling around the Wildlife Park which has a great variety of animals in spacious enclosures. Rounded off with a visit to the House and taking in the history and artefacts of a very well maintained manor. Lovely!”
“Fabulous venue. Who doesn't love a free festival! Can't rate it enough. It gets better and better every year.”
“A great place to spend a morning or afternoon. Free parking and lots of walks and trails to enjoy. Staff were really friendly and enthusiastic, and (shoutout to Elizabeth!) gave us a basic run down of the history of the house and the story of Bagshaw on arrival which was a lovely touch! Three rooms to explore downstairs and three rooms upstairs, my favourite being the Eygpt room! Entry is free, and gift shop is reasonably priced.”
“Had a great short stay at Hebden Townhouse. Comfortable, quiet and spacious room on the top floor, lovely bathroom and great continental breakfast. Thanks for hosting us for our quick visit to the town!”
“Had exactly what I needed and helps that they open super early. Lovely staff and reasonably priced too.”
“Great service, they're always happy to go the extra mile. They've given me advice on products in the shop and are always quick to respond to online queries. Thanks guys.”
“Womersleys went out of their way to rectify the failed delivery by the postal service so I am very grateful to them. They seem to sincerely provide good service and products.”
“Rang and ordered materials collected from yard no fuss very helpful staff.9”
“I needed a particular limestone paving product, which could have taken a while due to the importing problems, however Lisa went the extra mile and made sure I had the paving when I needed it. Nothing is too much trouble and the range of products and quality of them is second to none. As a landscaper having a business like this on my doorstep is invaluable.”
