“I had a consultation recently with Mr Smith re: upper blepharoplasty. I had wanted this procedure done for many years and had taken lots of time to research clinics anf surgeons. The clinic was very calm and reception staff very welcoming. I found Mr Smith to be very professional, approachable, and personable. He fully explained the procedure and risks/healing journey. After assessing me, he explained he didn't recommend the procedure for me currently and explained the reasons why I wasn't really suitable. Although I was disappointed, (and still am!) as I wasn't expecting that outcome, and had finally plucked up the courage to book a consultant, I appreciated his honesty and sense of professional responsibility and ethical standards. I will definitely book into Coppergate again in the future if I'm considering any other procedures.”

The reception staff were friendly and very helpful with directions around York and to the Barbican (where we were attending a concert). The hotel was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Our twin room was lovely. And it was only a short walk to the train station which we discovered on our way back (a shortcut shown to us by one of Hedley House team!). I'm usually very anxious when I go to a hair salon but James made me feel at ease immediately, he was friendly and professional and even offering guidance on products that I could use on my hair to help it have more texture. I also really liked how he offered his professional opinion such as adding light layers, it's always nice when I have no idea what could look nice on myself but James was able to give his professional opinion and make me look way nicer than when I came into the salon. When I left, I couldn't stop looking at my reflection in all the shop mirrors I was passing by, I'm surprised I didn't walk into a pole!
