“Lovely little Vegetarian café which serves good food. It's not a large place so definitely recommend calling to book a table. I had the special 'halloumi stack' which was harissa hummus, tomatoes, halloumi on sourdough drizzle with hot honey and balsamic. It was a lot of food for the price and all the ingredients were really good quality. The halloumi was grilled perfectly, there was a lot of hummus and it all tasted really lovely. It all tasted great, but my mouth was burning afterwards (My fault for not realising that it would be hot, the clues were all there!) My wife had the brioche French toast. This was ok but nothing special. It was not like French toast we've had before, it was more like an omelette with bread, and was very eggy. Did have a good amount of yoghurt and fruit on top though. I also had a latte which was nice and hot with a good coffee taste. We got a cinnamon roll to take away for later which was very nice. Overall we had a great meal with lovely service and I would definitely recommend this place. Note - There is a car park next to the café that you can park in for 1 hour”

“Was excited to come here after enjoying a couple of meals at Empire Cafe. I might have actually enjoyed the meal here more! Some particular highlights were the homemade black pudding, cold cut smoked beef, sausage roll and BBQ carrots. Service was very fast, and staff were relaxed and friendly. Only warning would be that some of the larger plates were very large (think schnitzel bigger than your face), so bring someone hungry to share with!”

“Jack did my hair and my bridesmaid's hair for my wedding and he was so lovely. Everything was low stress, fun and he did a wonderful job. He also did my Mum's hair and she's not had her hair done up nice for anything in a while and she was so thrilled and happy with how her hair looked too. Been a few times for a hair cut and catch up and I 100% recommend them. I have sensitive skin and allergies and they were wonderful at helping me feel safe too. I can't afford to get my hair cut there at the moment but if you can they are fab! Will be back when I can!”

“This Barber shop is by far the best is Wakefield . The owner is more like my friend than my barber ! He always makes me feel so welcome and comfortable ! I am receding & so , an experience at a new barber shop can be awkward . The gentlemen who owns this shop (and many others in Wakefield) is friendly and never judges . “The Block is a great spot for pizza, we popped in for a quick bite and a pint with not much time to spare. You can select which pizzas you want varying from £4-5 and they do you a large rectangular slice cut into 2 (we shared). As a recommendation, it's the perfect spot for a quick bite before doing something else for the evening. Staff were friendly, pizza was nice and they had good music on and a good selection of drinks, including brooklyn lager on draught!”
