“This is our favourite cafe to eat in when we come into Wakefield. The bagels are delicious with a good selection of fillings and bread including gluten free. Today we had a Manhattan and a Moroccan .”

“We ordered a variety of dishes and sundries for 6 people on Saturday. We collected and all were still hot when we got home, all very tasty, looked good in the trays. I understand there has been a change of ownership but the food was as good as before and the staff equally friendly”

“Service was very good, food was excellent and reasonably priced. Had a table for 2 on Saturday evening and had a really good time. Its been recently refurbished and they've done a great job of it. There's the bar area upstairs if you only want drinks or the restaurant downstairs if you're dining out, both refurbished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend paying a visit”

“Attempted to call ahead but couldn't get through—turned out to be the only hiccup in an otherwise excellent experience. The food was absolutely spot on—every dish packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Particularly appreciated the staff member who carefully repeated our order during handover, showing genuine attention to detail. Will definitely be returning for another feast. A hidden gem worth seeking out, just maybe skip the phone call and order in person.”

“My family and I recently had a fantastic experience at Valentinos. The restaurant manager, Carlos, was the consummate host, with a comprehensive command of the menu, and able to offer a brilliant recommendation. Our drinks waiter, Giorgio, was extremely attentive and interacted wonderfully with our children; and Ryan, who dealt with our food, treated us like royalty. A class act all round.”

“Absolutely amazing food, we go often here when the buffet is on the staff are the most lovely staff we haven’t come across any staff in any restaurant more friendly the female manager especially. All the staff are so good with my little girl and let her choose where she sits if it’s not too busy. Would 100% recommend:)”

“Contrary to the other reviews, I've found this Pizza Hut Delivery to be great. The service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were told the pizza would be ready in 10-15 minutes and around 10 minutes later it was indeed ready. It's a little bit pricey, but the quality of the food and the amount you get is worth it.”

We ordered loads and it was all delicious - would definitely recommend the homemade style Tofu, special vegan fried rice, salt and pepper chips, all the starters and also the chow mein. Also made a great breakfast the day after. Super friendly service - called me to tell me when we should set off to collect our food! Would love a bit more spice in the dishes marked spicy :) Definitely would recommend.”

“Amazing food, it was really tasty and full of flavour and was great value for money, portion sizes are very good including side dishes. Friendly and attentive staff, no wait in being seated (Thursday mid-day) and gave good recommendations. Very clean and nice looking restaurant and lots of condiments to add on to food. Drink selection was also very good, the menu was a bit hard to read with the background but that's the only issue I had, a menu redesign would be much appreciated with higher contrast and some pictures to show some dishes, alternatively you can look at the online menu too.”

My wife had the New York Classic - smoked salmon and cream cheese - she said it was also very nice. Many thanks for an enjoyable and relaxing lunch with jazz music in the background.”

“Went for breakfast here and got the small breakfast with hash brown. I would argue this breakfast is better than many of the breakfasts I have had within Leeds city centre and beats capri cafe. I would highly recommend, the staff are lovely and accommodating and you can tell the food is made with love. I recommend bringing cash to leave a lovely tip for this amazing local cafe.”
