“I went with a friend after we got recommended to try the place. We had the absolute loveliest time. Bella was a wonderful host, very attentive and accommodating for our dietary requirements. The food was spot-on and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere with the mood lighting was intimate and cozy, perfect for a warm bowl of ramen on a winter night.”

“First time ordering a take away from here. Something for everyone on the menu. A meaty version for my other half and vegan pizza for myself. They even provided an insulated bag to ensure the pizzas retained their heat on the journey back home. We will definitely be back to return it!”

“Came back in September 2025. Surprise was the mackerel and potatoes stuffed in crumbs which is kind of like a scotch egg but without eggs. The sea bass was a small portion though. Overall, we still live the food and service is great. We ordered four dishes and beer each, cost about £51 in total. Back in 2024: First time we giving a restaurant five stars for food, service and atmosphere. This place changed my perception of Sri Lanka food as my ignorant self thought was only thick curry similar to Indian. The food is top notch, refreshing curry that I finished every drop of, huge hake mallum is just something extraordinary which I've never tasted before. Must order the mallum and king prawn curry. Even the side dish of rice is so soft and fluffy, I am going to ask them where I can get the rice. Service is attentive and friendly, and seating is comfortable, great interior design. I'd go on but best that more people try this place for themselves. Totally worth paying the price. We ordered four tapas, a side and a dessert and we had already overeaten.”

“Although I've only been here for a few times (sometimes to grab a quick coffee, other times to sit down and enjoy lunch), it's becoming one of my favourite places in Leeds. “This is the third time visiting Vesuvius and each time we have been blown away by the amazing food! The chefs and staff are so friendly and there is such a welcoming atmosphere. Our favourites are the Napoletana and Bufala. Such authentic flavours and a lovely restaurant. Won’t go anywhere else for pizza. As a vegetarian it’s great having so many options and also a vegan option! Best pizza I’ve had by miles- and I’m not just saying that. So fresh and delicious”

“Our group of eight Thai ladies absolutely loved the food here! Every dish we ordered tasted just like the authentic Thai food we’re used to back home. You can choose your preferred spice level—from mild to true Thai extra spicy, which we really appreciated. If we ever visit York again, we’ll definitely come back. There are a few Thai restaurants in our town, but most of them have adapted their flavours to suit British tastes. Tah Tien, on the other hand, delivers the real thing. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Thai dining experience.”

“Wow, what a place! First, the decor: Tins of chopped tomato line the shelves - more varieties of chopped tomato than I knew existed - and the walls are adorned with both local artwork and stunning relics from the restaurants Marco’s father had owned in Italy. A highlight was a painted plate, depicting Marco’s father and mother as a chef and what can only be described as a seductress (neither depiction accurate, according to Marco) under the watchful eye of Il Passatore - a roguish Italian highwayman and Robin Hood figure. Second, the welcome: Marco is a delightful man. He came and chatted to us. He told us about Il Passatore. He brought us appetisers made with friarelli, a Neapolitan broccoli so nice my colleague left with a jar! He gave us a delicious and very boozy alpine digestif as we left. He is an excellent host and restaurateur! Third, the food: I had a puttanesca pizza - divine. Homemade chilli sauce to dip the crusts - divine. Friarelli and red pesto appetiser - divine. My colleague had a calzone the size of three-year-old. We ate like kings. I cannot recommend a meal at Marco’s enough. I was in Hebden Bridge for only one week. I simply popped in on my lunch break, and was treated to a meal I will remember for years. I left with a Marco’s Cafe T-shirt - the design a collaboration between his daughter’s artwork and Marco’s own AI skills - which I will wear fondly for a long time. Thank you Marco!”

“Best Pizza in Leeds, chuffed they’re on our door step in Morley. Small local business so everyone should support these as they are far superior to Domino’s, Pizza Hut and other takeaways. First knew of them doing my cousins wedding, middle of winter, -5 degrees, snowing and still showed in Doncaster from Leeds and delivered the best pizza and some much needed stomach lining for some drunken guests. They open on weekends at their shop, sometimes different days if they make too much dough for their weddings. If you’re lucky enough to live in Morley, go get your pizza, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!”

“Wow what a find We did a search for dog friendly places to have lunch in York. I have to say this is without a doubt the best pizza I have ever had. Hands down 100% my wife had the one with a whole Italian burrata so creamy I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good pizza”
