“Thai Sunshine was a great find. The atmosphere is very relaxing with very soft music and the stuff is very friendly. We went there at lunch, and they had a lunch deal of 1 starter and 1 main for roughly £15 per person. We got satay chicken and spring rolls for our 2 starters and for mains a chicken green curry and a chicken panang. Both curries came with rice. Everything was delicious, the rice was perfectly cooked, both curries were super tasty and with the right spiciness. The restaurant accept cash and card payments, they have disable entrance and toilet on the ground floor, and they have another toilet upstairs. They also do takeaway and offer a delivery option if you are in the area. If you are driving, there is a quite big car park in front of the supermarket not far from there (2 min walking). I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Really great place! The food has always been amazing, the price is reasonable, the atmosphere is great. We have been for dinnet and also enjoyed one of their themed nights. The puctures are from a Frank Sinatra night which was wonderful and would definitely recommend.”

“We stumbled on the excellent value menu on a Wednesday evening. They have a banquet deal which is incredible value for money. Our group of 4 shared the food and every dish was good quality and really tasty. Everything tasted fresh and was spiced to our liking. The service provided by the young man who looked after us was much appreciated as well. Very much recommend The Red Pepper - especially after a couple of pints of Kirkstall Brewery’s 3 Swords in the Black Horse over the road. Thanks for a splendid evening.”

“Had an amazing meal at Pizza Freak The freakin' carbonara pizza was everything I hoped for and more. The creamy white sauce, smoky pancetta, and perfectly cooked egg brought so much authentic flavour to a pizza, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. We also started with the tomato basil arancini, and they were outstanding. Crispy on the outside, with a beautifully soft and gooey centre. Everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was great and the service was super friendly. This place is a must-visit.”

“Food was nice & fresh. Veggie burger was nice but would be nicer with some more seasoning as it lacked flavour & tasted plain. But nice effort. Pizza was nicely cooked and toppings were generous, pizza base nice too. They gave us free Garlic bread pizza & it was lovely.It was nice gesture & also called to make sure we pick it up in 10 min so the food is freshly prepared to be ready. Nice place and nice people. Would be great if you could add more flavours and seasoning to pizza & burger. Thank you”

I recently ordered a platter for a celebration not only was it excellent value for money, the quality of both the product and the service I received were second-to-none. The team really know their stuff and gave great recommendations for the size of my party, and everyone commented on how fresh and delicious it was. “Would 10000% recommend The Hovels to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Josh was an absolute star from start to finish, he went above and beyond for us and the planning process could not have been easier. The whole team at the Hovels were lovely on the day and everything ran so smoothly. The venue and grounds are beautiful and the cottages round the corner are so handy too! The food was incredible, so many guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had and there was plenty to go round too so nobody was left hungry. We also really appreciated that there were no extra hidden costs after booking and we never felt pressured to add on additional extras either! We absolutely had the best day we could've imagined and were so happy with our choice to get married at the Hovels ❤️”

“Really really good takeaway place. I eat loads of takeaways in Leeds and this is the topboy at the moment. Pizzas have alot of toppings and are very tasty, all the sides I've had are excellent and even the dips are higher quality than other takeaways. It's a little bit dearer than some takeaways but the quality is also much higher. Arrives hot and on time. It's worth the binge.”
