“Bombay Bites is one of only a few eateries that define Leicester and gives the city a rare unique selling point. Somehow a meal from here transcends fast food even though fast food is the reason why you visit. The quality of the food and ingredients are akin to your favourite indian restaurants but the price rivals your usual on the go burger chain restaurants. The product itself is a thing of joy yet very simple in construction, a box of comfort food. My favourite is box #3; tandoori chicken greets you when you open the lid on the box, below there is a layer of chicken masala which has perfectly begun to steep into the nann layer below that. If you dig down to the bottom you'll find the rice waiting for you. I recommend Bombay Bites for any of the following situations: work lunch, I can't be bothered to cook tonight, i want my visitors some cool food, I'm absolutely starving and I need to feel full, let's grab something on the way to football and finally I want some decent Indian cuisine but I'm on my own tonight. I'd not eaten here for over a year or two (regrettable in retrospect) and I recently visited again (on a busy Friday evening.) SOMEHOW standards have not slipped and the food seems even better now than ever before! Photos don't do it justice. I get the feeling I'll be back next week to pick it up again upon the orders of my wife...”

“50p Pool table with chalk and usable cues, not much on draft but we stayed for a couple of pints and some pool. Lovely old pub and needs more visitors to keep it open. Will come back when we are in the area. Only downside is it's cash only but if you're playing pool, you should have some anyway. : ) Didn't have food, not sure they do any, but giving it the full 5 stars for everything as bar lady was really nice..”

One of busiest and liveliest places in Leicester. House music is the main genre. Friday nights has r n b and other music inside Apres lounge. Good range of drinks and excellent service. Highly recommended for a proper night out.”

“I recently placed a large order with Marks Electricals for a complete kitchen renovation, including an integrated fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, two ovens, and a hob. From the initial order to the final delivery, the service I received was truly top draw. The pricing was very reasonable, making the initial decision easy, but it was the customer support that really stood out. I made an error on my order, but when I contacted Steven, he instantly rectified the mistake and processed a part refund, even though the error was entirely my fault. Additionally, one item was out of stock, but Steven conversed with me regularly, providing constant updates and ensuring I was informed every step of the way. Once all items were in stock, he helped schedule a delivery date that suited my specific needs. The delivery today was scheduled perfectly. The two delivery men who arrived were incredibly helpful. I had originally asked them to leave the items on my drive as I was waiting for a friend to help me move them to my workshop at the bottom of the garden. However, they insisted they would move the items for me so I wouldn't need to bother my friend. They went above and beyond the call of duty, ensuring all the large appliances were stored securely in my workshop, ready for my fitters who arrive in two weeks. Although I can't yet comment on the products themselves, I am exceptionally happy with the service, communication, and professionalism I have experienced. I highly recommend Marks Electricals for their outstanding team and excellent logistics. I will post a product review once my kitchen installation is complete!”

“Honestly a very pleasant first experience. In a country where everything seems to be getting smaller but the cost gets higher, I was genuinely taken a back by the size and quality of the food. We ordered not long before they closed, so I was expecting it to come lukewarm and rushed. The food however came hot, and with a lot of care. I can't speak for the pizza as we didn't order one (despite the name :P), but everything else we had was spot on. The burger was on a different level. I hope I get the opportunity to eat here again very soon~”

“I was brought here by my partner for a quick getaway. The room was clean even though it was dated. The beds are large, firm and comfortable. The staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly. The food was out of this world. I proud of myself being a big eater but after just having the starter and main I couldn't go on any further as the meals were of a generous portion. Would I come back here. Yes I would and I will more than likely be back soon.”
