“If you love coffee you have to try Leicester coffee house! They roast their own beans and use good milk and you can really tell it's good quality coffee. The baked goods are also lovely, my daughter loved the vegan choc cake and I love the carrot cake. We moved to Leic from London which had some great coffees and searched for ages for a decent coffee shop here and this has to be the best we've had! I just wish we lived closer so we could get it more often :D”

Firstly, I had read previous reviews regarding lack of Covid safety measures; this was not my experience at all and in the whole time I was there, all staff kept their mask and visors on and kept as distant as practicable from customers and each other. I had only made my booking online this morning and so had opted for Arron as he was the only hairdresser available. I should add that I was long overdue a haircut: with my last hair cut being over a year ago; but have struggled to find someone who does a good job of cutting my thick, long and slightly frizzy hair following my hairdresser of past, emigrating to the states) Arron was friendly and attentive and took on board what I wanted. I walked out an hour later absolutely delighted at the fantastic job he had done... and for once booking a return appointment because I was so pleased with the job he had done! I also had brief interactions with other staff and must say that everyone was friendly and pleasant that I encountered... who knew my last minute appointment for a quick wash cut and blow dry would lead me to such a great hairdresser!!!! :)”

“Stayed here for one night . Great value, easy check in, clean room , everything you need for a short stay. Plenty of parking . The best part was the breakfast , staff are so happy, cheerful and friendly ! Service with a smile , even a little Christmas sing song , food was perfect ! I love a breakfast made to order, poached eggs at their finest . Made to feel very welcome . We arrived at midnight to a very friendly greeting and were quickly checked in and told which facilities were still open. Same chap checked us out, again friendly and quick. Room was nice (nicer than we expected truth be told!) with extremely comfortable bed and well fitted bathroom. I would stay again if I was in the area.”
