“Firstly, I must point out that my partner and I did not dine at the Caravelli but stayed in the hotel however I did see and smell the food and it looked, delicious! We used this as a base for the night as I had to travel back to visit my father who had been very unwell. Whilst we were there, I found out that shortly after visiting him, he passed away… whilst trying to process everything that had happened, I popped downstairs for a drink to calm my mind and the front of house staff knew that I had received bad news. They were so kind and supportive towards me, I was most grateful and very touched. Our suite was beautiful, large, spacious and clean with tasteful decor. The bed was huge and very comfortable and it helped me to get the rest I so desperately needed. Thank you again so much. We will be back next year in different circumstances to stay and dine.. “Loved this Restaurant with speakeasy entrance to the tables. The staff are so friendly and attentive, prices are good for a city centre. We had an amazing meal. Lovely background music too. We stayed at a local hotel and got 10% off our bill.”

“Called in on a Friday lunch time after recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Lovely little old fashioned pub with friendly and welcoming staff. We had a sandwich each, wife had prawn and I had beef and stilton, on brown bread. Both delicious and will certainly be having again. Just a bit of info for those wanting to eat here, food only served Wednesday to Saturday, 12 00 to 14 00.”

“I was determined to remember to write a review because wow the girls had the most amazing time. I didn’t know what to expect and it by far exceeded all expectations and blew the girls minds. Started with a good 40 mins in the hot tub with little welcome mocktails. The lady looking after them “Ellie” made the girls instantly at ease and described exactly what was going to happen through the day and checked in regularly with them. They had lovely little massages, and they always make sure the girls who aren’t having a treatment have something to do like amazing hot choccies. The ladies were really respectful of their young ages and made them feel safe and looked after. We weren’t ever left without anything to do or milling around and didn’t feel rushed to leave. The afternoon tea was amazing and definitely exceeded expectations again! Thanks so much for a great day for the girls. We will definitely come again and highly recommend. And special thanks to Ellie who the girls are totally in love with!”

“Came for breakfast with my son after seeing some pictures on face book of the food.was not dissapointed, breakfast was proper decent with thick bacon and great quality sausages. All tye food was spot on, food was a little slow to come but they apologised and as they were so busy understandable but defo worth the wait.5* breakfast”

“11 of us went here for our annual Christmas party and as always, we had an amazing time! You really do get your value for money with your meals and drinks. “Went here the old horse n hounds has gone. This has been completly redone internally, its very nice and modern inside. The food menu has lots to choose from I went for the ultimate burger which was very tasty. It took a while for the food to come out even though it was not very busy. Apart from that it was great and will visit again. Also as a bonus the booth we sat in had a tv just for us which kept our lil one occupied with a film on.”

“Anna created my bridal and bridesmaid bouquets as well as three buttonholes and flower arrangements for my cake. Her communication was excellent, I had photos at every stage and what she created was absolutely beautiful and just what we wanted. I would definitely recommend artificial flowers and it was great to support a local small business. Thank you Anna!”
